Our stay was very special! After a strenuous journey, we were able to get into our house very easily. We were greeted very warmly and we felt immediately welcome and worry-free. The rooms were very cozy and full of love for detail. A mix of modern and home style with Swedish art. What I noticed particularly positively was the cleanliness and service thought. Everything was taken care of, fresh sheets, towels, shower gel and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, laundry facilities. For bad weather or fun evenings, there is a Wii room in the basement. Communicating with the hosts was easy, quick, and straightforward. We were able to communicate fluently in German and got nice insider excursion tips. Within walking distance there are beautiful walks through the woods. Unfortunately, our stay was far too short, but we will definitely come back to you :)

Gölin's house took our breath away, detailing the house furnishings that Gölin did with her own hands! We felt like we were in a story from Astrid Lindgren. Who is her fan will really enjoy staying here, plus Stora Fagerhult is close to the well-known Bullerbyn, Lönnebergy and of course Vimmerby, the hometown of Astrid. Gölin is a very warm-hearted woman who will get you right away and you are happy to chat with her. Gölin, thanks for everything!

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole and Tobias house. It is a truly extraordinary experience to spend time in such a remote place. We could see the most beautiful starry nights and at days you could hear and see a lot of animals around the house. Nicole was quick replying, proactive and even brought us some of the eggs her hens laid and Tobias gave us a warm welcome even though we arrive pretty late at night. We had an altogether great time and would love to come back sometime.

Idyllic spot deep in the forests. Surrounded by nature in quiet peace. No TV or WiFi which I think is a feature (mobile reception is fine though). Zen and his mother were very guest free and attentive, lovely people. We went to dip in the lakes (writing this in October) and then back to the cabin for sauna. Very healing for body and mind. Would love to come back again.
