thankful for the host's hospitality and kindness. 🙏🏻 the place was as described and we had a comfortable stay. the property was in a quiet neighborhood and there were lots of plants and trees around. lots of warung around and there's a restaurant (Kalamansi) nearby as well. we didn't get to use the kitchen since we dined out a lot but drinking water was provided. the semi-outdoor bath was nice but expect that there will be bugs especially at night, so keep all doors closed. the place was big enough already for me and my partner as it had a "mini" living room. we got to work but the wifi fluctuates every now and then. overall, a good find! we didn't get to explore Sanur but we did visit the nearby Bali Zoo and we also managed to go snorkling in the Blue Lagoon and a quick side trip to Bias Tugel beach! thanks again for being part of our experience. 💖

I had an excellent stay at BK Villa. The villa manager, Herman, and the host, Mr. Ho, were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend BK Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

The stay was perfect. The place is a paradise, surrounded by rice fields with lots of greenery. Ideal for those who don't want to go to Canggu or Uluwatu and prefer a more relaxed stay close to nature. You absolutely need a car or motorcycle for absolutely everything, luckily with Grab it's super easy. The owner also sells food and drinks that are very useful when you don't plan to go to the center of Ubud by car (1 hour). We loved being away from the center, surrounded by nature. The house is just like the photos and even better, and communication with the owners to order food, activities and breakfast is super easy. Regarding the noise from animals that other guests mention, it's solved simply with earplugs. The only change I would ask for is to improve the pressure of the showers. It didn't come out very hot either. I would definitely recommend this listing

We had a great stay here for 1 month. Check-in in the middle of the night was no problem and the hosts welcomed us super nicely. The kitchen is also great and if anything is missing it was immediately concerned by the hosts. Only the chickens right next door were a little disturbing in the early morning hours as well as for working but otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at this villa in Sanur with our family of five (three kids aged 6–11). The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short stroll to the beach via a nearby resort, and only minutes from great restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It’s close to everything but tucked away behind a secure gate, which made it feel peaceful, safe, and much more spacious than other places we’ve stayed. The villa itself is beautiful—modern, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were cool and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day, which was such a welcome retreat from the Bali heat. We loved relaxing in the shaded outdoor cabana while watching them swim and play. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and the cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job throughout our stay. Highly recommend—this place was a real highlight of our trip!

We had such a great time with our family! You immediately feel at home due to the cozy decor. The view over the rice fields is just beautiful! The bedrooms are fine. We were not bothered by traffic. We had massages done a few times, Awan took care of that. It all went well. Every day, Awan made a great breakfast of your choice. We all liked it. Awan speaks enough English for the necessary communication. The supermarket across the street is very convenient, so is the simple restaurant at 20 meters. We also regularly ordered food through Grab. It was a first introduction to Asia for a few of us. Due to the villa, that first impression is great!!! Very good stay at this Villa. A total and friendly change of scenery for a beautiful arrival on the island of Bali. Doni, Claudia and all the staff are very nice and give lots of good advice and tips. More than perfect environment with pool and relaxation area, jungle and small villas. We had a fabulous holiday in Ubud made extra special by our stay here - as a family of 7 the property allowed plenty of privacy and peace….ams a communal area when we wanted to be together. Staff were super friendly and helpful and Ross was responsive. Thanks for a great stay. We’ll be back.

I don't have words because this villa is simply sensational. Reviewers in the guest notebook have written this "best villa", and I now think so when I return and stay in other villas. It's fantastic. Beautifully finished, every detail of decoration, Balinese wood, beautiful sofas and pillows, captivating smell, incense, frogs, duck quacking, gecko sounds, wonderful atmosphere. Pool, rooms, all - great! Very friendly and helpful. There will be a few restaurants in the area, but it is generally far from the shops. Even so, we walked to Warung and the store. Everything can be ordered - food, driver to Ubud, to the store. Service daily for breakfast brings toast, eggs and delicious fruit. Drinking water, coffee and tea are provided. You can walk around the area in the Balinese countryside and meet ducks, watch the rice terraces or go to the spa. I wholeheartedly recommend Shanti Villa for a minimum of a week, because you'll regret leaving it less. 100% recommended!!!

The location is magical, just 5 min from the harbor. The cottages surrounded by tropical gardens and an amazing view. Waking up to the sounds of nature was unforgettable. The cottage is beautifully designed with natural wood and cozy touches, it really feels like a boutique jungle hideaway! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the high-quality linens smelled so fresh. The team was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place is a hidden gem! Incredible value for money, especially compared to other Airbnbs we stayed all around Bali. We explored many beautiful hidden spots on the island, not just the usual tourist places. An amazing experience overall with our friends, we 100% recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

What a delightful experience. From the minute we booked, until the moment we checked out, we were taken care of as 5⭐️ accommodations always do. The house is stunning and beautiful. Exactly as described. We loved the open air traditional living and equally were grateful for the air conditioning at night. If you prefer no nature, this is not your place. If you love nature, you will find no better. Made came every evening we were home and made us traditional Balinese food. It was amazing and the best we experienced while on Bali. We are so grateful for her. She also provided excellent laundry service, arranged for massage and a pedicure for my husband. (Just want to mention Komang & Kedak twin sisters gave the best massage in Bali). Kedak, the manager, kept us arranged with drivers and fresh water. We are so grateful for our experience in the “jungle” and rice fields. We stayed two weeks and loved every minute.

Walking distance to the pier, the Host is very friendly, kind and understanding.Due to the 3pm boat, the host agreed to a late check-out, and I left at 2:30pm.

A real favorite in Ubud! The vibe of the city is amazing and this place went a long way in making our stay even more enjoyable. The private pool, although partially in the shade and we couldn't enjoy it to the fullest because of the weather, remains a real plus. The host was super helpful, always available and very accommodating (especially for renting a scooter at a very good price). The homemade breakfast every morning was great. No complaints, we would recommend it without so much as a second thought!

Great little quiet oasis away from the mild chaos that can be anywhere slightly busy in Bali. Great location smack bang in the middle of the main strip but removed enough that its hidden and quiet. Stupidly beautiful and super helpful host. Strongest of recommendation.

Made is a fantastic host—super friendly and very responsive. We stayed at this house for a month and loved its remote location, away from traffic. As mentioned in the listing, geckos live on the ceilings, helping keep flies away. We got used to them quickly, though we had to clean up after them occasionally and they might make some noises from time to time. Since the house is near rice fields with lots of vegetation, insects, frogs, and spiders sometimes made their way inside. The pool, just three meters from the bedroom, was a big bonus, it was also regularly cleaned by local staff. The air was fresh, the surroundings peaceful, and the internet was fast enough for video calls, despite occasional freezes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were really sad to leave. If you’re looking to escape routine and experience Ubud’s authentic vibes, I highly recommend this place!

This place exceeded our expectations. beautiful, serene, peaceful, well worth the value. Ketut is very friendly. He is there to help and assist. Breakfast was fantastic and timely. He lent us a charging cable. He recomended great privaye drivers, Wayan and Happy. The place is absolutely wonderful. It is located right near little grocery mini Matt's and a café. Just enough away from the hustle and hustle of Ubud yet close to the hot spots. The place was cleaned every day. This place is a must stay. Thanks Ketut. You have amazing hospitality.
