Our stunning 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The sunny terrace offers unique views of both the famous Staubbach Waterfall and the valley itself. In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

The 1.5 room apartment is located on the 1st floor on a farm in the beautiful Bernese Oberland. Close to great skiing, hiking and biking areas. The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed 180 × 200 A bathroom with shower and toilet. Kitchen and living room are in one room. In the kitchen, the most necessary dishes are available as well as a Nespresso coffee maker. We are a bit far from the village, so guests without a car have to walk about 15 minutes to the center.

There is also a bus station (e.g. To reach Lake Blausee). Kandersteg is a wonderful place to go for great walks, has an outdoor pool and good dining restaurants. The key is stored in the safe at the entrance. The code will be communicated 1-2 days before arrival.

Small studio in cozy old house. Parking, Wi-Fi available. The apartment is right next to a bus stop. My husband, our 3 school-age children and I also live in the house (above the Airbnb). So you might even hear a few steps from us. The kitchen is fully equipped. Attention! The neighborhood is currently under construction. Construction noise possible! We live on a street and the cars can be heard sometimes.

Love June We find your place adorable. It looked like we were newly renovated and it has everything you need for a cozy stay in an apartment. If the upper guest apartments of this beautiful, traditional chalet are occupied, I recommend noise-sensitive guests earplugs for the evening. Fortunately, we had very considerate neighbors and so it was very quiet from 10 pm. Therefore: a lot of 5 stars for this beautiful vacation rental! Thank you very much, dear June. We had a wonderful stay in Kandersteg. The home was clean and peaceful and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of everything to cook for 6 people. We were 4 adults and 2 young children. The children had a lot of fun with all the toys available and the huge collection of DVDs and games. It was very easy to get to the gondola for skiing and to the cross-country skiing tracks - we didn't use the car for the entire week we were there. We were very lucky with snow and sunshine so had an amazing time. The surroundings are absolutely spectacular - can recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and incredibly comfortable for the four of us. The views were absolutely stunning — a real highlight of the trip. Everything was just as described, if not better, and the host made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future!

I’d like to say it was a home away from home, but rather it’s a place I would love to call home. Carina and Alex instantly made us feel like friends and family! The home was easy to access from town, and you get a free guest bus pass making everything very accessible. The space itself has everything you need including plenty of room to spread out, organize yourself, and make yourself comfortable. We cooked our meals in the spacious kitchen, enjoyed sitting on the patio and adoring their gardens and flowers, and rested our tired bodies in the comfortable bed to rest at night. We greatly enjoyed interacting with Carina and Alex during our stay and truly do hope to come back and explore more of Kandersteg and the surrounding mountains. We will work tirelessly to get our legs more prepared for the next trek! Thank you, Carina and Alex!
