We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful weekend in Dwarsgracht, despite the rain We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage on the Dwarsgracht, despite the weather not always cooperating. The cottage was comfortable and cozy, and the location is beautiful — even with rain it is enjoyable in this area. What really made the stay special was Eva's hospitality. She was incredibly relaxed and open, even with our animal gang. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable. It's so nice when you come somewhere and find that you are not only tolerated, but really seen and appreciated. Thank you Eva, for your warmth and hospitality! We'd love to come back — hopefully with some more sun next time. 🌦️🐾

The contact with Marcia was very pleasant. We could indicate what time we would arrive and everything was good, so we did not feel rushed, while we arrived a little later than we could already be in. Marcia had all the time for us and also offered that we could ask about things. It was nice that we had our own entrance from the garden and therefore also had a lot of freedom. The cottage was very complete and was nicely decorated. What stood out was the closet space. Especially when you stay a little longer, that's very pleasant. We stayed 1 night, but I could easily have stayed here much longer with pleasure. Who knows, I'll do it again.

We had a nice time with six adults. The space was good for the six of us. Monique and Peter sent very clear instructions about the accommodation. Immediately after booking, a message whether we knew that a number of sleeping places with a somewhat steeper staircase are accessible. Very thoughtful but was also clear from the description and photos. Beautiful view, beautiful, very large garden. Sauna was wonderful all in combination with the outdoor shower. Space to put the bikes dry, very nice. Being able to charge the car, also a plus. And Peter and Monique were super nice. We even got some discount on the use of the sauna because they found it annoying that the weather was not so good. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it all with a few people and enjoy the tranquility and space that is there.

We immediately felt at home in this great accommodation! Mia made it easy for us with her hospitality to feel really comfortable right away. The accommodation is a gem, the garden a dream! For us as a family with a small child (4 years), a perfect place to relax, start excursions and just breathe! You can feel the attention to detail in every corner!

The perfect weekend getaway: beautiful house and garden, fantastic breakfast, lovely hosts, kid-friendly, and close to the beach. We recommend to watch Mists of Avalon on DVD while you're there.

Dear Hosts, We were warmly welcomed. Everything was sufficiently explained/ shown to us and the herb garden at the house was also at our disposal. We were also immediately helped with the bike search, Auke took care of everything and took us to the bike rental by car. The homemade apple juice (very tasty) and the fresh eggs were a lovely gesture. We felt very comfortable with the two of them!

Cozy, spacious house with sauna and jacuzzi. The house is cozily furnished and in a quiet location. There is plenty of space to sit outside as well.

We have enjoyed our stay so much! The cottage is full of comforts and feels very luxurious. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped – we cooked there with great pleasure. The shower and the whole house are also comfortable and spacious. The view of the greenery was really fantastic. You'll relax right away. Every morning and often in the evening, we took a walk through the beautiful forest with special birds and deer. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Always up for a chat and we thought it was very cozy. If we liked something, we spontaneously got to taste something, so sweet and thoughtful! In short: this is absolutely recommended, whether you want to stay a few days or longer. We'd love to come back here again.

I arrived very satisfied and left the accommodation with a happy feeling. It is a perfect place to unwind, especially for people like me who are constantly in work mode. The quiet location and the opportunity to cool off in the pool in warm weather are simply great. Maarten always responded immediately when something happened – always friendly and helpful. Spent a few days in the amazing Loft of Baukje. Due to the beautiful weather, we could enjoy the beautiful terrace on the water every day. Beautiful bike rides along the IJsselmeer made and delicious food in the cozy Workum. The Jopie Huisman museum is also very special.

What a nice place! We really enjoyed our stay with Ans and Anton. Their B&B was the perfect base for the wedding we were going to. And how sweet: when it was pouring out of the sky, Anton even brought us the car! The next morning we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. Mandy was such an accomodating host and was very responsive to our communication. We really enjoyed our stay at her quaint abode which was promixal to everything you will need (Grocery, Bars, Restaurants, Bike Hire etc). It was fully equipped for our nearly week long stay and Mandy had really nice recommendations for places we might require. Definitely would recommend staying at Mandy’s and looking forward to staying again when I’m next in town.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time in Reckum – and that's mainly thanks to the great host! We were warmly welcomed at check-in and felt comfortable right away. Our host was consistently likeable, incredibly patient and always helpful. Whether it was tips for the area, small concerns or spontaneous questions – he always had an open ear and a solution ready. His competence and serenity really made our stay special. Thanks to him, we were able to fully enjoy our time in Reckum. We can only highly recommend the accommodation and especially the host – we will be happy to come back!

Suzanne’s loft is truly a home away from home and filled with all the comforts and amenities you could ever need! So refreshing while traveling. We stayed only three short nights and our only regret is not staying longer. The loft is in the perfect location just a block away from restaurants, bars, and shopping. The street is so picturesque and we woke up Saturday to a beautiful linen market! Thankyou for hosting us and for your amazing communications! 🧡🧡
