The bright and very tastefully furnished apartment with fireplace and sauna is a gem in Oberursel. Slightly set back from the conveniently located street, a pond awaits you in a very nice front garden through which you can get to the apartment. In these you can spend wonderful quiet days and nights. Although intended for two people, there are enough dishes to receive visitors at the large dining table. In general, all the amenities are high-quality and tasteful and reflect warm-hearted attention to the guests. The location of the apartment is a very good starting point for hikes in the Taunus, excursions to the Wetterau or by subway to Frankfurt in the city. We felt very comfortable.

We had a great stay at this house by not missing anything. You enter this place and feel right at home. In addition, a super nice contact to the landlords, who are always helpful. In the right winter weather, the use of sauna and hot tub was a treat. All in all, a fantastic getaway.

It was a nice stay in the upper apartment with a beautiful view of the dam. The furniture and furnishings are well pictured, you get what is shown. It was particularly nice to find towels, sheets and the basic equipment for the use of the kitchen and bathroom (hand soap, dishwasher tablets, fresh toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) and not have to bring these things yourself.

The apartment was tiptop clean, very tidy, lovingly designed and really equipped with everything you could ask for. There are 3 separate rooms + kitchen-living room, so you can easily stay there with four people. The contact with Ellen was reliable, friendly and straightforward.

Daniel was a great host. He explained everything clearly when we arrived, was always available when needed, and respected our privacy. We had an issue with our car, and Daniel kindly allowed us to leave our bikes behind while we returned to Belgium with a rental car during the repairs. We highly recommend his place — it’s conveniently located near Phantasialand, Cologne, and Bonn.

Good house in a nice location. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had the essentials. We also enjoyed the Hot tub in the garden and sauna in the barn even if the weather was not perfect. Roland was very responsive as a host. We would definitely recommend this house and would consider to go back in the future as well

Quiet, private place on the lake. The weather did not allow for a swimming pool. Spacious loft for 8 people. But without a car, logistics will be difficult. The owner and staff are very friendly, and quickly solve emerging needs while staying.

Super nice apartment, bigger than expected. Everything is nice and clean and complete. Friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful quiet place, but amenities (supermarket etc.) can all be reached within 10 minutes. Our toddler enjoyed themselves on the farm with the go-kart, trampoline and feeding the animals. We also did the treasure hunt, the forest trails were blubbery and sometimes difficult to pass, for us only extra fun and adventurous. But maybe a smaller scavenger hunt on the grounds of the farm itself is also a nice addition for the little ones or those who have difficulty walking.

As already stated in the actual review: a place to feel good with a very friendly landlord who also acts proactively to make everything as pleasant as possible for his tenants. There is also nothing missing and you will find everything as it is presented in the description. The surroundings of the apartment are also very pleasant, nice neighbors, a quiet place and many opportunities to explore the really very nice area.....hiking....cycling etc. I personally would definitely come back if necessary, I can really only recommend this apartment and I would like to thank you very much for everything.... We had an amazing stay at Rita’s and Hansleo's place! The apartment was spotless with very generous areas. Everything was there, even fruit, we felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. They also have three very shy but curious opacas, ask to see them! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay!
