Farmstay vacation rentals in Kalmar County

The vacation home is very nice and lovingly renovated by Patricia & Marten. We had a very nice time and felt very comfortable there. Since there were only two of us, we only used the lower part of the house, the two rooms on the upper floor with a total of 4 additional single beds remained unused. However, you would have an enchanting view of the sea from the upper bedroom, over which the sun rises in the morning. The kitchen and the rest of the accommodation are well equipped and offer everything you need. For breakfast in the sun on the terrace, the chickens visited us every morning. But they are not out until 9 AM and otherwise extremely quiet and friendly. Located in the middle of the island, it is the perfect base from which to discover Öland. The nearest beach is only about 5 kilometers away. Patricia and Marten have created a magical place to feel good. 100% recommendation from us!

We enjoyed the time on Hasselö, in the very nice house of Lina's family very much, great view from all windows, from the balcony, from the jetty! Very friendly welcome with luggage transport from the jetty. Thank you for the very relaxing days, we will be happy to come back!

We (5 adults, 6 children from 4 to 14 years) had a really good week at the Målilla moose park. The house is spacious, child-friendly and contains all necessary equipment. In the kitchen there are also consumables such as film, foil, paper towels, and spices that you are missing. The house includes a secluded outdoor area with possibility for play, meals and barbecue. Kids and adults enjoyed having unlimited access to the moose park with goats (goat kid) and rabbits. At our evening stroll through the park, it appeared bathed in beautiful light and spread a peaceful atmosphere when the animals relaxed after a long “work day” with the many visitors. The large surrounding area offered ample opportunities for hikes in the forest with mushroom collection, bathing and diversion in the form of a sledding, visiting an old mine and Astrid Lindgren's world – something for all ages. Maria welcomed us and helped carry our bulky luggage into the house. Maria turned out to be just as friendly and helpful in answering our questions.

Lovely place especially for those who love nature and animals. Cats, chickens and roosters add to the overall atmosphere of the place. Stugan was warm and cosy even in the relatively cold winter with an electric blanket in the downstairs bedroom. We were provided with plenty of firewood and eggs, which are probably better than anything you can get in your local supermarket. The owner takes good care of her guests and is easy to contact by app or mobile phone.

Nice scandinavian stile old hause. Very great atmosphere there. I hope i have an opportunity to come back. The host where very helpful and friendly.

Cozy little cabin located in very quiet surroundings. Suitable for a stay where most activities are outside the cabin as, just as described, it is small. Lovely terrace with morning sun and nice view. Robert was very welcoming and extremely flexible with special requests, which was a great help. There is no freezer, but other common kitchen necessities are available.

We found what we were looking for here: A quiet place with beautiful nature by the water for a relaxing break. Accordingly, the apartment is functionally equipped for everything you need. We were able to cook well here, sat outside in the garden or in the living room. The Baltic Sea shore, which is easily accessible on foot, is beautiful and very relaxing. Jenny was very accessible and her information/ descriptions always helped us.

An absolutely awesome stay. Quiet and private :) good to get some energy. Awesome hikes and lakes around and not too far from the next big city. We had such a fun and adventurous time and the home made it even more worth it

Great cottage. Close to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgrens Värld, but also in a beautiful environment close to the forest. We got a lot of use of the large deck and grounds. The horses were very much appreciated by the children. Lisette had great tips on excursions and Astrid Lindgren's world. Warmly recommend!

We spent five wonderful days in this cozy house and had an amazing time surrounded by peaceful nature. We enjoyed hiking and swimming in nearby lakes and the quiet atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. The sauna next to the house and the spaciousness of the house made it ideal for cooking, relaxing, playing board games and disconnecting from everyday life. Thank you so much for that!! We would always come back - highly recommended!!

Small and cozy accommodation with everything needed, we had a great time during our two days. The hosts were helpful and met us when we got there. The area was calm and pleasant with the alvar right across the road, can promise that the morning sun over the alvar was wonderful to look out over and the evening sun away towards the sea. We are happy to book a accommodation again next time we come to Öland.

Great accommodation and Maria is a great host - nice and it was really noticed that she wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Among other things, she lent toys to our toddlers, immensely appreciated by them. The place is quiet and very beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay and immediately felt very comfortable in the trailer. It is idyllically located and you can escape everyday life perfectly there.

Very lovingly furnished house with very nice, helpful and warm hosts. We loved staying with Ylwa and really felt welcome. The place is small and cozy and offers everything you need. The location on Öland is great as you can easily reach the south as well as the north by car. Thank you for the wonderful time! 🐓🐄🧺🥮

Staten is a well accommodated residence in a very quiet and beautiful surrounding. Andreas is a great host who had foreseen some chocolate biscuits as welcome gift for our family, which our children greatly appreciated. He was also at all times very responsive to questions we had and gave plenty of suggestions to explore the region. We can surely recommend this house to all future guests and hopefully they will have a similar positive experience as we had.

We were a family of 5 and stayed with Mariett almost two weeks. The house was very well equipped and very clean. We felt comfortable right away and Mariett asked upon arrival (next day) how we're doing and if anything is needed. She was very accommodating setting out for us an extra lawn chair and bringing the sun umbrella. We enjoyed the days with trips to lakes, Västervik, the elk farm, Astrid Lingren world, visiting Hasselö, etc. The local lake is a bit more than 1km from the house. You need to walk up the driveway to the street over and back down to the lake (no direct lake access). You can also take the car. We actually felt that from all the lakes visited, the house lake was the best (incl. benches, fire pits, trees for a hammock, scenic view). We were lucky and had not too many mosquitoes, but had a lot of flies (no issue unless in the bedrooms at night). The neighborhood cat was a bit annoying rummaging around the outside dinner table and trying to get into the house.

Nice house and garden! Many bedrooms and beds, suited us perfectly. Close to the small nice community of Sandvik. We had a lovely stay!

It is a very lovely house. We loved it there. Very clean and friendly. The backyard is amazing. We stayed for a week and it went by so fast. Martha is great,she gives great advice and is always there if you have any questions. The house has everything you need and wish for. Anytime again!!! We loved it

It was perfect for two families, we had such a great time, and the hosts were lovely. They helped us with everything we needed. We went fishing, enjoyed the hot tub, and the house had plenty of space for all of us. It was peaceful and so relaxing to unwind on the big terrace. We’d all love to come back next year.
