Incredibly nice host! Cozy place where there are areas for playing. Was there 2 nights, really nice with a sauna in the evening. Nice with some play for the kids in the form of a slide and swings. IDYLISK location that we'd love to visit again!

We enjoyed the time on Hasselö, in the very nice house of Lina's family very much, great view from all windows, from the balcony, from the jetty! Very friendly welcome with luggage transport from the jetty. Thank you for the very relaxing days, we will be happy to come back!

We were there multiple times and we are coming back each year! It's still special being able to walk around the park alone and observe all the elks in a quiet environment!

Cozy house with a large garden and even more tranquility! Very homely and well equipped. Also in the garden several seating and lounging options. Very quiet neighborhood and close to nature. However, this is also a little off the shot. Great view of the bay, unfortunately no direct access to the water. Absolute recommendation for those seeking tranquility and relaxation.

Lovely place especially for those who love nature and animals. Cats, chickens and roosters add to the overall atmosphere of the place. Stugan was warm and cosy even in the relatively cold winter with an electric blanket in the downstairs bedroom. We were provided with plenty of firewood and eggs, which are probably better than anything you can get in your local supermarket. The owner takes good care of her guests and is easy to contact by app or mobile phone.

Cozy little cabin located in very quiet surroundings. Suitable for a stay where most activities are outside the cabin as, just as described, it is small. Lovely terrace with morning sun and nice view. Robert was very welcoming and extremely flexible with special requests, which was a great help. There is no freezer, but other common kitchen necessities are available.

It was a really nice place and was very close to Astrid Lindgren's World, nice outdoor areas for our children.

We had an absolutely amazing stay with Jenny at Ytterön! The house was cozy, quiet and charming with everything we needed and the surroundings were something very special. The nature was beautiful and inviting, and it was really nice to be so close to the open natural landscapes. Jenny was an incredibly friendly and helpful host who did everything to make sure we were comfortable. She was easy to get in touch with, welcoming and even helped us get to the house. All in all, a magical little vacation. We hope to return one day soon. Thank you so much, Jenny! 🌿🌞

What an amazing night we have spent in the tent! The environment is so peaceful and quiet, sleeping by the stars and listening to the (wild)life out there has been such a nice experience. The beds are super confortable and the tent is perfectly equipped. The kids (and grown ups) have really enjoyed it! It is also a very nice place to explore with lots of activities and great places to discover. Would highly recommend!

Very nice and quiet place, a unique living. Fantastic for the construction and history buffs. Well located with proximity to all of Öland. Lovely with local producers who sold vegetables, eggs, etc. Right next to the property. Clear instructions and nice treatment, easy to connect with the host. Recommend to stay here.

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. I have been here for the second time and would come back again and again. Very friendly and helpful hosts, a great view and lots of sheep to cuddle. 🐑 For me, the perfect location. 👍

Very nice original wooden house but with modern kitchen and modern bathroom. Stylishly furnished and with a spacious terrace. For small children only recommended to a limited extent due to the steep stairs (but child seats and toys are available), even tall people could have trouble. Nearest supermarket is 15 km away in Oskershamn, you have to take that into account when planning! In any case, we felt very comfortable in this Sweden idyll!

A wonderful accommodation, we would have liked to have stayed much longer. Quiet and idyllically located. We also enjoyed the specialty of Öland very much. Anne is a wonderful host. Very warm and friendly. Your dog is also very sweet! We will definitely be back when we are on the island.

The view is magical! We really liked the cabin. Luckely we got some sheets and towels with us, as they were not included. Otherwise all was there! We were able to bike around. Which was really fun to take the ferry (only pedestrians and bikers) nearby to Kalmar.

unfortunately only stayed one night, but hope to return to this cozy house and a lovely garden that cannot be described in words. impossible not to love this gem.

Staten is a well accommodated residence in a very quiet and beautiful surrounding. Andreas is a great host who had foreseen some chocolate biscuits as welcome gift for our family, which our children greatly appreciated. He was also at all times very responsive to questions we had and gave plenty of suggestions to explore the region. We can surely recommend this house to all future guests and hopefully they will have a similar positive experience as we had.

We were a family of 5 and stayed with Mariett almost two weeks. The house was very well equipped and very clean. We felt comfortable right away and Mariett asked upon arrival (next day) how we're doing and if anything is needed. She was very accommodating setting out for us an extra lawn chair and bringing the sun umbrella. We enjoyed the days with trips to lakes, Västervik, the elk farm, Astrid Lingren world, visiting Hasselö, etc. The local lake is a bit more than 1km from the house. You need to walk up the driveway to the street over and back down to the lake (no direct lake access). You can also take the car. We actually felt that from all the lakes visited, the house lake was the best (incl. benches, fire pits, trees for a hammock, scenic view). We were lucky and had not too many mosquitoes, but had a lot of flies (no issue unless in the bedrooms at night). The neighborhood cat was a bit annoying rummaging around the outside dinner table and trying to get into the house.

It was perfect for two families, we had such a great time, and the hosts were lovely. They helped us with everything we needed. We went fishing, enjoyed the hot tub, and the house had plenty of space for all of us. It was peaceful and so relaxing to unwind on the big terrace. We’d all love to come back next year. Very nice house in quiet surroundings. Proximity to the sea, sights and a small community with grocery store etc. within easy reach. Niklas is a nice helpful host who is easy to communicate with. We'd love to come back.

We felt very comfortable with Caroline and had a wonderful time in Öland. What we noticed particularly positively at the accommodation: - plenty of space inside and outside (a very large garden with a great porch) - Many retreat options for reading, relaxing - Great living room with very comfortable furniture - A light-filled beautiful dining room - a very clean and well stocked kitchen - clean baths in a good size We will be happy to come back!

Lovely house , everything was present, we felt right at home and all day cranes around and around the house. Nice base for long bike rides.
