Monthly Rentals in Kalkara

Excellent choice. The flat was very nicely positioned in Kalkara. The pool in the backyard is amazing! The host was very reactive and clear with the communications.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Airbnb! It's a lovely flat with a well-equipped kitchen. Having two toilets was super convenient, especially since we were traveling as a group of three. The bedrooms looked just like the photos — as did the rest of the flat — which was great. Whenever we had any issues, Clive responded incredibly quickly. He was always super helpful and even came by to assist in person when needed. Over the three months we stayed, the place really felt like home. The location is also ideal: it's about a 10–15 minute walk to the mall, and around 20 minutes to beautiful nature and the bay. There were also fruit vendors within walking distance, which we really appreciated. Two bus stops with direct connections to Valletta were also within walking distance (about 15 minutes), so we were able to get around easily even without a car.

We enjoyed our stay. It is a charming house, in a great location: right on the waterfront in Kalkara harbour, next door to a bakery, 2 mins walk from a few local restaurants, 15 mins walk from Birgu harbour (where there is a wider range of restaurants and the ferry to Valletta). This is a characterful period property, so there are a few quirks; but all part of the charm for us. Lunch on the roof terrace was a real highlight for our family. Wendy is an excellent host, and very hands-on. When we had the only problem which came up during our stay, Wendy (and her very helpful dad!) came round immediately to fix it.

I highly recommend staying at René's place. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The apartment is stylish, very clean, located in a beautiful historical area. Renee is a very kind and thoughtful host. When we arrived, sweets and wine were waiting for us. Thanks!
