Excellent host and the backyard is very nice for outdoor meals. The walk to the beach is no more than 10 minutes, a nice bakery on the way to the beach. The river that is right next to the property is very quiet. The train tracks are right next to the house(train runs every 10 minutes) but the host has double windows in all rooms to lower the sound tremendously. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the other 3 guest parties were a joy to converse with in the backyard. Two things to consider for your stay: 1.) Can you handle the train noise? every 10 minutes. 2.) Ask about bathroom size picture of the room you're renting. That backyard was worth it for me. like a mini arboretum.

The place is breathtaking! You can spend few hours just looking at all design elements and historic items.. The amount of work, talent and love put in this home is incredible. The yard and garden looks hipster and fun. We loved the place and will be definitely back!

House was perfect for us. Fence around The yard was great for a dog. Shared yard wasnt problem, yard is big and very beautiful. We used grill outside and had some cucumber from garden. Beach is near and extremly beautiful. Houst was really friendly and house as descripted. Love to come again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Karlis’ house, which features a charming garden, a cozy terrace, and comfortable upstairs bedrooms. We stayed for three days with our dog, who was warmly welcomed. The nearby forest, with its many scenic trails, was perfect for walks. The peaceful, nature-filled area just outside Riga was ideal for relaxing. The house’s rustic feel, especially on the lower floor, added to its charm. The front door was an unforgettable, authentic detail—it felt like stepping into a Grimm’s fairy tale. The house has been modernized with care, preserving its unique "cigar box" character, especially at the lower floor. Karlis' house is truly a gem, and it was a delight to learn about the artist who once lived there and see his remarkable sculptures still on display.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful. It is designed meticulously and is effortlessly stylish. It has everything you could possibly need to stay there and live comfortably. The amenities are endless. It is clean, spotless and well organised. You feel right at home. The champagne is a nice welcome treat. :) The location is perfect. The area is private, quiet, has shops nearby and you can bolt/ order food from take-away and the supermarkets. You have everything you need. It is less than 2 minutes to walk from the front door to the beach. The surrounding beaches, forest and national park are all beautiful. It is a good place to explore and relax if you need to unwind. On top of this, there are nice restaurants and bars if you want to go into Riga. It is also close to the airport and very convenient for travel. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone. This is a great place to stay in Jurmala! The railway station is a few minutes away on foot, the sea and the beach are about 10-15 minutes away. Right behind the fence starts a beautiful forest, where you could walk and pick very tasty blueberries. The apartment itself is divided into 3 rooms - a bedroom, a living room with a sofa and a kitchen with another sofa. There is an absolutely stunning balcony with dining table and sofa. There is a gas cooker on the balcony and it was a real pleasure to cook breakfast there in the morning. Many thanks to the owner for his hospitality, it was a pleasure to talk to him about various things.

This cozy cabin is just perfect for a family woth a dog/dogs. The yard is large and great for your furry friends to run around. The home itself is very cozy and you will feel right at home. We had no problems at all during our stay. We will definitely try to book with Ēvalds again and come here during the summer months. The beach is literally 100m from the home! Of course Kauguri isn't famous for their cafes or restaurants but if you want to just get away and sit or walk on the beach all day this place is perfect!

Amazing stay, clean, easy to reach, everything you need is in the flat and all the sops, parks and cafes are right by the flat.
