Smoking friendly vacation rentals in José Santos Guardiola

Quite simply the best AirBnB experience I have ever had, and one of the best overall travel experiences ever. My hat is off to Adam, his staff, and wonderful family at Mame Trees rooms and apartments. Having stayed at several other different properties around West End, Roatan, and researched and evaluated dozens more, I can honestly say that this is one of the very best values available in this popular enclave. It has a perfect location, a variety of clean, reasonably priced accommodations, off street parking (vital!), and proximity to both Half Moon Bay beach, and a variety of restaurants and stores. You can have a ring-side seat overlooking the action and entertainment on west End Road in the front, or enjoy the quiet beauty of the gardens and jungle in the back. Either way, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal.

We loved our stay at Albert and patty’s! The air bnb was really cozy and they had nice touches that a lot of air bnb’s dont. It’s close to the beach and a quick walk to restaurants but quiet at night. The unit has a big water jug, comfy pillows and sheets, tv, hot water, microwave, kitchen items to cook meals and laundry. The only thing that would hinder us from staying long term is the air conditioner. It cycles on and off and doesn’t stay on and it’s very loud. So when it’s on, the a/c has the room really cold, then it turns off and the room gets hot and that happens all night so our sleeps weren’t great. Albert said he tried to have it fixed so we believe he’s trying to work on the problem but I think one that stays on all the time would be more comfortable for the future. 🙏🏼 Overall Albert and patty do everything to make sure you have a good stay and are such nice people, we would love to stay again in the future. Don’t hesitate to book this place :)

Bonnie gave us great info especially about pre precheck beforehand, and had a great binder with wonderful info on restaurants and attractions. Very cozy accommodation with everything we needed. I would come back.

From the moment we arrived at this stunning Airbnb in the heart of West End, Roatan, we knew we had stumbled upon a gem. Nestled in lush, meticulously maintained gardens that invite relaxation and serenity, this home became our haven for an entire month. The beauty of the surroundings is matched only by the warmth and hospitality of the hosts, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect.The property itself is a masterpiece of comfort and style, blending seamlessly into its tropical environment. The interior is spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for, making it a home away from home. The attention to detail in every corner of the house and garden speaks volumes of the love and care put into this place.Our days were filled with tranquility, from morning coffees amidst the vibrant flora and fauna to serene evenings under the stars, enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the West End. Our stay was a truly wonderful experience. From the first moment, we felt right at home thanks to the attention we received. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations, standing out for its comfort, cleanliness and care in every detail We took away an unforgettable memory and we definitely recommend it. It's a place we hope to return to in the future

We had a WONDERFUL stay! The unit was large, airy, and clean. We had a total of 10 people from two families staying, and we had more than enough space. The unit includes two large airmattresses, which the younger kids slept on. The unit is right on the beach and walking distance from a lovely beach area where cruise passengers stop for the day. In addition, the pools are great! There are two large community pools in addition to the 3rd floor private pool. We ate out twice at Smoky Grill, which is within walking distance, well-priced, and has an amazing atmosphere with rope swings over the water and tiki bar upstairs. The only thing to note is there is not a grocery store within walking distance, so it is smart to make a stop at Eldon's when you arrive. Both the airport and ferry terminal are really close. We made a day trip to West End to see some of the more touristy areas, but we really enjoyed the quieter side of the island.

Dave’s place is actually better than what you see in the pictures. I stayed for a week to do some remote work and just enjoyed my time there even though I was working most of the time. In the morning the singing of the birds wake you and you walk out to the porch to enjoy the beautiful view of half moon bay beach. Anita (Dave’s wife) was a darling, always greeted me with a smile and asked to make sure if I was having a good experience at their place. Even though the room is attached to the main house, Dave and Anita give their host the privacy they desire. Overall, it was one of my best stays in Roatan and would definitely consider staying there again.

Our stay at this house was simply spectacular. The architecture is stunning, with spacious and comfortable areas perfect for resting and relaxing. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. A true highlight was the breathtaking ocean view and the privilege of snorkeling right in front of the house—an unforgettable experience. We also want to highlight Giuseppe’s attention and kindness. He was always cheerful, helpful, and extremely responsive to all our questions. He made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Without a doubt, it was a wonderful experience that we would love to repeat.

Fatima and Tirza were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with anything we might need, available on chat, and Tirza lives right in the area. They picked us up from the airport and returned us to the airport at the end of the stay. They gave us lots of recommendations about where to go. The condo is spacious and located in a quiet neighborhood. Simple comfortatable place with new quiet air conditioners. Walkable to West End, it's a bit of a walk up the hill, about 10 minutes, but you get a chance to walk off your last meal and get your steps in. Thank you very much Fatima and Tirza!
