Romantic country house

A large amazing beautiful house in the countryside in tasteful style with tiled ovens and high ceilings. The house is bright and airy, and is furnished to fit larger parties that like to cook food and hang out. The garden is full of roses, lavender and flowers just to pick in and decorate the dinner table with. Outside the kitchen, salon and spa area there is a 100 m2 limestone terrace with comfortable seating areas, barbeque and a generous dining table, surrounded by thriving discounts and a comfortable lawn.

A really nice typical Swedish cottage (110 sqm) with a tasteful decor and fireplace. 8+2 extra beds and lakeview even from the sauna. Wi-Fi and 50"Smart-TV. 6 new bikes and 2 boats are included; of which one is a fishing boat (engine 1.000 SEK per week) one is a conoe boat (3 persons). 100 meters to walking paths/trails and 2 km to mountainbike tracks. The house was cozy and had plenty of space—much bigger than it appears in the pictures. Communication with Linda was excellent, and she was incredibly helpful, even accommodating a very late check-in. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the Christmas decorations added a nice touch. Overall, a fantastic stay!

We were two families, 4 adults and 4 children, on a wonderful winter holiday at Stefan's house. We felt very welcome when we arrived at a heated house. The house is very spacious, clean and with a great view to a beautiful lake. Stefan had sent beforehand great instructions around the house, the route there, and the area. There are nice facilities both inside and outside the house, and we really enjoyed the sauna right by the lake. We also had a day skiing at Mullsjö Alpin. We will definitely be back!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

A really nice cabin/house in a beautiful area of Småland. For anglers like us, it was a hit. Dinghy with electric motor can be found at the house located on the shore of an excellent fishing lake Madkroken. In addition, there is access to an alluminum canoe on the smaller but super idyllic Skärsjöarna 1 km walk from the house. The host is very accommodating. Highly recommended.
