Perfect house for a quiet family getaway. The house is easily accessible in a quiet little place. Directly at the house is the lake and adjacent is a forest. Perfect for hiking, swimming, fishing and boating. The house has everything you need, it is tidy and cozy. Shopping is not too far away. Sofia is a super friendly, helpful and courteous host. It was a great vacation and we highly recommend it

We stayed at one of Mattias's cabins in October and it was in a wonderful location and super cozy! The views are amazing, right on the beach, and it's comfortable and snug. The cabins are such good value compared to a hotel room and much more practical for a family of 4. Beds are comfortable, shower is good, the cabin was nice and warm (good heating system that can be adjusted). Smart TV so we could watch our own Netflix. Sadly the weather was rubbish so we couldn't sit outside, but still a 5/5- highly recommend!

Love the location in the woods. Very private and peaceful , beautiful lake nearby and nature surrounding the cabin is beautiful. Instructions were very clear and I found the place with no issues. Hanna is very quick to respond. There are bikes, boat, games, books, full kitchen supplies and lot more available. I was looking for place to escape city and I definitely got what i paid for. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you Hanna, your home is lovely!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

Super cute house, with a beautiful view on the lake. What a great moment we had from the sauna watching the birds on the lake. Fredrik is super nice, available and flexible. The fireplace is so convenient in winter (don't forget to buy wood sticks). If you like running, trails, walking in the forest, this is the place to be ;-) 20mn from Isaberg, very easy.

We spent a week in Martin and Maria's summer house. Communication with Martin went well. The location of the house is great, what a beautiful location on the Sommenmeer! The furnishings are complete and wonderfully light and modern. Lots of hiking, beautiful routes nearby. For fishermen also a super location! An unforgettable week, we would love to come back to this nice place!

We had a great vacation at Linnea's house. It had everything we needed. The location is great, right on the lake, very quiet, you are really secluded and have your peace. We were out and about a lot with the two small boats on the lake and enjoyed the sun in the garden. We will be happy to come back!

We were able to enjoy the stay from the first minute to the last minute. Everything was as described and Tomas was very friendly and helpful. The house offers the possibility to completely get out of everyday life and enjoy nature and tranquility, whether inside in the living room or outside on one of the 3 terraces. The sauna and lake offer additional recreational value.

We had a very nice and relaxing time. The place is fantastically beautiful. You can enjoy it in any weather, as it is also super cozy inside. The highlight is the fantastic view of the lake, the nature right in front of us, the private jetty and the seclusion. You can swim, go boating, make campfires or just laze around. During our stay, there was an issue with the toilet. Lars and Katarina took care of it immediately and even offered us an alternative place to stay. The two are very friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back.

We were two families, 4 adults and 4 children, on a wonderful winter holiday at Stefan's house. We felt very welcome when we arrived at a heated house. The house is very spacious, clean and with a great view to a beautiful lake. Stefan had sent beforehand great instructions around the house, the route there, and the area. There are nice facilities both inside and outside the house, and we really enjoyed the sauna right by the lake. We also had a day skiing at Mullsjö Alpin. We will definitely be back!

Excellent location directly on a very quiet lake in the middle of the forest away from noise and hustle and bustle. It was sooooo good. Perfect for completely relaxing and unwinding. We didn't miss anything important when it was set up. The house is simple but cozy with all the basics. A rowing boat is located directly at the in-house boat dock in front of the door. A wonderfully clear lake invites you to swim. The view from the bedroom to the lake is uniquely beautiful. We were thrilled and can only recommend this house if you are looking for peace in nature. Those who need it will find shopping, excursion destinations and entertainment nearby. Picking mushrooms, biking, or hiking in a beautiful setting. Anything possible. We were thrilled and can only recommend the host with the house.

Nice and clean accommodation with all the necessities. Felt very at home. Beautiful surroundings. Marie was very nice and accommodating. She also responded quickly to message. We would love to stay there again if the opportunity arises. Highly recommended. 10 minutes to shops by car and beautiful walking paths outside the door.

Talk about an amazing rental. The floor to ceiling windows with modern amenities such as whole-home speakers and modern kitchen appliances,, and family friendly accessories, we felt like this was one of our favorite places to stay. The location is absolutely beautiful and the toys for our daughter made our stay that much more enjoyable. I would recommend this location to anyone and would love to come back. The house matched the description perfectly and is very nice. We were there in the winter and it worked great, hope to come back in the summer and swim at the private jetty. All the equipment was available and then some. Very comfortable beds. Very clean, tidy and tidy. Fredrik and Thomas were perfect hosts. Nice and very helpful. Don't hesitate if you're thinking of booking this house! You will be more than satisfied!

It was a wonderful holiday in fantastic nature! The house is a 10/10! Contact with the owners was smooth. The owners have two large dogs in an outdoor area with a cabin. If they wanted to let the dogs out, they only asked us by message if it was okay with us. The dogs left us alone when they were free. That was very good as we had our own dog with us. You have a great view over the rest of the property with main building and lake on the hill on which the cottage stands. From the property, a beautiful hiking route goes through an enchanted forest with a wild river. By car, there is the highest waterfall in southern Sweden about 50 minutes away and other great hiking routes through breathtaking nature reserves with gorges and viewpoints. We felt very comfortable for three next.

We had three beautiful days on the small island. Especially the kids enjoyed the stay very much. In the evening we could make fires and enjoy the tranquility. Unfortunately, there were also many mosquitoes, but we were prepared for that. The location is very nice and quiet. The accommodation itself is very simple, but with everything you need. Refrigerator, gas stove, etc. worked perfectly. The outdoor shower also serves its purpose. Communication with Peter was great and very fast. Definitely to be recommended.

Great cottage/house. Wooden deck with perfect view of the lake. Very quiet and soothing. Lots of kitchenware and good quality crockery/glassware. Barbecue grill available. Proper bed. The only thing you can complain about is that there is no internet access or coverage (for us anyway). But I guess that's a bit the point of staying here. Relax and enjoy. Thank you Ove!
