Apartment vacation rentals in John o' Groats

Ainslie’s place was very comfortable and her pictures don’t do it justice! It was a sizeable space with everything you might need including clear instructions and helpful info about Wick. The apartment was thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The only thing I would change is the shower. The mechanism that heats the water is quite sensitive, and the water went from very cold to scalding hot with a single click. If you have a long day of hikes planned, it could be an issue for you, but after our day of only driving, we were okay. In general, we were comfy and cozy and Ainslie’s place was a great stop-off point on the NC500.

A lovely, very stylish and clean unit directly at the Loch Watten. We enjoyed our stay and the day trips to John O'Groats and Dunrobin Castle.

Had booked Harbourside accommodation. Due to a construction issue my booking was transferred very helpfully to the Forge accommodation - same facility same management company. Very efficient Excellent customer service and communication

Lovely comfortable apartment and the bed was amazing. Town center was walkable and the views over the bay from the apartment were incredible. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great place to stay!! House is immaculate, well furnished, comfortable and we felt right at home. Great view from the landing window! Fab location for walking into Kirkwall town centre and also central if you're planning touring about the island in the car. I will be visiting Orkney again without doubt and I would definitely stay here again. Fab!!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Scarva. Elaine has thought of everything. The apartment is cosy, comfortable, and quiet - a perfect place to come back to after a long day exploring. Better than the images (if that's possible). A real home from home. We would love to return. Thank you!

Abdul's place was very nice and clean. Actually, one of the cleanest place in the whole country we have ever seen! All as described. Abdul was a very friendly and responsive host. Highly recommended place and host!

Evelina was very approachable and accommodating. The flat was a perfect, cosy wee base for me and my dog :) I hope to be back.

Had stayed there for 1 night, Stevie was very helpful in explaining the property location and check in was very smooth. It looked exactly as shown in the pictures. Free Parking is available within 2 mins walk. Great host and good property if you are looking for a stopover while covering the North coast 500. Tesco, Lidl and few restaurants are nearby the location. 15 mins drive to the Lands End - John Groaths.

We stayed in the Loft. It was fantastic and cozy fireplace, full kitchen and comfy beds. There is a sweet cat on site always looking for a head scratch and just down the road is a standing stone, sandy (I’ll be it cold lol) beach, and ruins just behind the church. Stunning location and amazing owners. They really care about what they do and are quick with support and enthusiasm for the area. Would happily book this place again and again.

Great spot in the center of Stromness. Áine was responsive to questions… her pointer to the Ferry Inn for dinner was fabulous.

Ideal place to stay when in the area for a few days. Isla was quick to respond to any messages and very helpful.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und unkompliziert. Das Studio ist mit den wichtigsten Alltagssachen ausgestattet und wir brauchten nur noch einkaufen zu gehen. Bei Fragen waren die Gastgeber sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Un super séjour, le logement est spacieux et bien équipé. La vue est exceptionnelle sur le bord de mer. Margaret est très accueillante. Nous reviendrons !

Had a great stay at John's and used it as a base to explore the surrounding area as well as relax and do some online work. It is a very quiet area and kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home if that's your thing. The nearby town of Tain has everything that you would need including a number of the large supermarkets.

A great place to stay, the apartment is very modern, clean and very warm. There is plenty of allocated parking and is close to all amenities. This is my second stay here and would book again for my next visit.

The flat is a little gem with lots of little added things to make it pretty: pictures, photos, nice curtains etc. When we arrived the electric fire and classic FM were on. A special touch. Super quiet. The view is amazing and it is only 10 minutes walk to Stromness. Super easy to access by car and then travel into the island. Highly recommend.

Bert’s apartment was excellent. It was even better in real life than on the pictures. We had two dogs and a toddler with us and were all very comfortable for the duration of our stay. Bert was an excellent host. Really friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend a stay with him.

Fantastic apartment in brilliant location. It is spacious, warm, clean and has high quality furniture and a lovely bathroom. The hosts provide excellent instructions.
