A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Successful 70th birthday crew visit Villa Marin! The space was adequate, in the summertime the yard would have been able to enjoy even more. We got good steam in the sauna, and we found everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The host's memories for the birthday hero were delighted.

We spent five wonderful days in the villa by the lake. The cottage is very cozily furnished and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of amenities. Of course, the sauna is great, the use of which has become our daily ritual. The view from the large window front offers a different atmosphere at any time of the day. On the frozen lake we were able to take beautiful winter walks and go ice skating. Miina has always provided us with great tips. Communication with her was great. We would love to come back and can recommend the villa to anyone who appreciates beautiful landscapes and nature experiences!

We had a wonderful family holiday at this beautifully cabin. It was a perfect set up for my young 3 children, they loved playing in the lake and on the little beach, and were kept occupied with all the toys. Whole we enjoyed relaxing evenings in the most incredible lakeside sauna. The cabin is so well equipped, it had everything we could have ever needed. We loved smoking our own fish for lunch. Thank you Reijo and Marja, we do hope tonreturn.

In addition, the fees for the use of the hot tub and small downside for deflated or incomplete children's objects... pity the Olympiads would have been more tight. This was definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed at. We were looking for a quiet, stress-free place, and this BnB is perfect. There is electricity and heaters in both the main and guest rooms, and plenty of equipment for cooking. We used the sauna and took a dip in the lake for a traditional experience. Highly recommend it—it doesn’t feel too bad after being in the sauna! Thomas has a great manual explaining how everything works, and it’s all very simple. It also shows where all the local restaurants and shops are located. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent stay, would highly recommend. The cabin is so peaceful with an amazing view of the lake. The photos don’t do it justice. It is very remote and private, so a great spot to switch off. There are some steps for swimming in the lake which was lovely and the Sauna was excellent. Proper traditional Finnish cottage holiday. Anna-Kaisa was very helpful and quick to respond. Top tip - do your food shop before you arrive as it’s about 30 mins drive to the nearest shop that we could find.

Beautiful place, close to nature, you can relax perfectly. Owners are very helpful and nice, they answer every question and are ready to help with solving every problem. Good access from Helsinki and the surrounding area, the house is well equipped. We recommend it warmly and hope that we will come back someday!
