A five minute drive to downtown Newport, and a few minutes walk to Sachuest Beach, this above-garage guesthouse is detached from the main residence with its own private entrance. There is a large living area and a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. The living room sofa converts to a bed, so the property is ideal for 2 people, however, the sleep sofa can accommodate 2 more. There is no extra charge for children under the age of 18. We are dog friendly.

My home is a 3-Bedroom, tri-level ranch located in a quiet neighborhood just outside of downtown Newport. The best beaches on Aquidneck Island are a 5 minute drive and there is a huge back yard, complete with a brand new BBQ grill and outdoor seating. There is one king sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen in the guest room and a queen as well as a custom built in child bunk in the third bedroom. The home comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 2 children.

Chelsea is an amazing host! Super responsive with great local recommendations. The apartment is comfortable, clean and roomy. Lovely restaurant right next door and lots of other dining options within an easy 10-min walk (as well as Town Beach!). We worked from the apt some days, and there’s plenty of room for two people to set up working spaces. The common areas in the house and the backyard are cute and beachy. You instantly feel like you’re on vacation. We’d definitely stay again!

Our family of 6 celebrated Thanksgiving here and everything was terrific. House was very well appointed; kitchen had plenty of cookware, plates, serving dishes, which made it easy to prepare a holiday feast. Lots of sleeping space (3 bedrooms+), extra linens, towels, blankets and pillows. Very cozy. Fenced in yard made bringing our dogs very easy. Close to beaches, shopping, restaurants. The deck looked like it would be a nice place to hang out in the warmer months. Kelly was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely rent from Kelly again if our plans bring us to the Westerly area.

WALK to Seawall/Restaurants! All the amenities!

We needed a place to stay for the holidays while some work was being done at our house a few miles away. We felt really lucky to have found Ashely and Justin’s house when we walked in. Four bedrooms with 5 king and queen beds were an incredible plus, and the beds were perfect. The bathrooms were super clean and had great linens, lotions, soaps and other things like makeup removers. The kitchen has all appliances and utensils we needed and was a big open space you can move around. The living spaces in front and back of the house were big and open, well furnished. The living room in the back opens to a great backyard with a fire pit and swinging bench. The house is awesome and we’ve recommended to all our local friends and family. But the thing I like the most was being in the Pier and walking to the seawall and beach, Monihans jetty and the restaurants and pubs off Boon Street. Location location location!

Joseph’s place was just what we needed for our family’s accommodations to attend a wedding. The place was nice, comfortable, clean, and served its purpose. Off-street parking was helpful. The neighborhood is residential, but convenient to restaurants and some faster options. There were some slightly unsavory things going on down on the street below outside the building, a couple of times. We come from Baltimore though, and felt safe. Joseph was an excellent host. Would stay again.

Enjoyed everything about this house. Better than described and even better than what the pictures show. This is a flip flop house with 3 smaller bedrooms on first floor and living area on second floor with master. Plenty of space for everyone to relax or play games. Kitchen was very well stocked and there is a separate eating area for family meals. Lovely area to walk and explore. So happy we could bring our dog too!
