Vacation rentals with a kayak in Jamaica Beach

This place was absolutely gorgeous. It was definitely well equipped with activities for all ages. The downstairs kitchen was a great touch when preparing food to grill. This house was better equipped than a William Sonoma kitchen store! Our family will definitely invite friends next time since it was so spacious. Thanks for being an amazing host. The Traw Family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gem. The downstairs sitting area is where we spent hours fishing and grilling even on rainy night. It had everything !!!! The house was nice and clean, and the perfect set up for our family of 5. The upper deck is also amazing for entertaining , and the neighborhood was so well maintained. We will be back !! 💯

Lisa's place was exactly as described and shown. It is a quaint house which was perfect for our family of four. Some of the living room chairs were recliners! That was a nice surprise. We had an issue with the AC, but Lisa was quick to respond. The home is well equipped, and the garage has various things for water fun such as, paddleboards, kayaks, a paddleboat, life vests, fishing rods, etc. We were hoping to try out fishing, but just a note, the spotlight is very dim compared to the neighbor's so we were unable to catch anything. Location is easy to get in and out of. The neighborhood has sidewalks down the main roads to make it easy to go for a morning walk or jog. The neighborhood park is three blocks away and has a small playground for children. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck to relax and listen to the various birds.

Amazing time here! Tracy was responsive to any and all questions we had. The recommendations for places to eat were perfect! The house was so clean! Smelled so good! The master bed is a Cali king and so good we asked where it was from! The kids enjoyed their room and all the fun games inside and out! The fire pit and grill were great. Our most favorite was hanging out downstairs and enjoying the weather,the swings,hammock and especially the dart board! Showers and bathrooms were stocked with necessities if you forgot any. Beds were clean as can be. Kitchen stocked with the cutest cups and plates. Huge fridge. Tons of storage areas. We loved the huge red bean bag in the living room..we all either napped or sat on it multiple times. I can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you Tracy for taking care of our needs and providing such a fun beautiful getaway! (The fire place and light up tables were so cool!) also the park there was perfect for our kiddos!

Our Easter stay was amazing, it was not only fun but so relaxing too. We packed soo much but didn’t even have to, Misty&Kyle’s place had everything! The house was extremely clean and such an at home feel. The kids woke up and had a fishing tournament and my 6yo won! They caught crabs, croaker, black drum, pin fish and more. It was soo cool to watch the schools of fish at night before bed. I was nervous the kids would get very gross while fishing but they have plenty of water spouts around the home and the out door shower was soo handy from fishing and the beach, my kids didn’t even use the indoor shower! The outdoor seating was awesome too. If we are to stay in Galveston again we will def not even have to search for a different stay, we would love to come back right here ! We will also pack very light because we had everything we needed. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks because my kids and aunt just got straight into the canal and floated around. I cannot wait to come back !

We loved the house! It had everything we needed and more. Lots of space plenty to do for everyone. And the host was super sweet and responded quickly.

We had an excellent stay at Chiquita Escape! The house was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Catch lots of fish .However, we encountered an issue with the fans in the basement. There was no switch to turn them on, and when we called customer service for assistance, they provided a ticket number but didn't follow up. We didn't receive a call until the end of our stay.

Place exceeded our expectations! Very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone on our trip, enjoyed the canal view especially! Thank you Kandas.
