An amazing experience! We are 100% satisfied with our stay at this place, a true natural paradise. The setting is beautiful, quiet and perfect to disconnect and enjoy nature at its best. In addition, the host was always very attentive and was available to resolve any concerns we had during our stay. We definitely recommend this place as a destination for family vacations. It's a lovely place on Lake Izabal. The beach looks golden; the house blends perfectly with the landscape. The house is very comfortable, designed to enjoy every space while enjoying the beauty of the lake. I had the opportunity to go with 12 people. place is probably for 20 people. The rooms are well equipped, hang out areas very spacious. perfect for a large family. Lidia, Israel and Willy were always on site ready to help yet not over bearing. Ramon was always available.

We had a great stay at Manati house! It's a very simple house on the river, but it had everything we needed. It was very relaxing sitting on the porch or the dock, watching the boats and birds go by. There were no other guests when we were there, so we had the house to ourselves, which was awesome! It might have felt a bit crowded if there were others there. One thing to note: once you are dropped off at the house by boat, your only means of transportation is the kayak that Julio leaves at the dock. You will need it even to get to the little store a few doors down. We didn't realize that we were expected to pay to use the kayak ($75 Q per day), when we paddled down to buy some provisions. It should really be included in the rental, as you are pretty stuck without it! You can't really walk anywhere, as there are no roads or paths to get around. Other than the kayak issue, Julio was very helpful and responsive, and even picked us up in his boat and brought us to Livingston (for a fee).

Chalet Villaruè and our host Noelia, exceeded but far exceeded our expectations, the natural landscape, accompanied by the incredible attention of Noelia and the comforts offered by the place, made an unbeatable experience. Noelia was attentive to us at all times, from our arrival to our departure, she really made us feel at home. The Chalet Villaruè is decorated in detail and in every area of the place with many antiques, the same ones that Noelia explained its origin as well as its function for which we did not know, that adds value, since the place is full of history. the place is equipped with so many places for rest or recreation that it is sometimes difficult to choose a place to be since all its areas are beautiful, it has a cannopy for children, and we were provided with even sound equipment as well as a Karaoke to finish having fun on our trip. The Chalet is on the shore of the Lake, an extremely quiet beach that is very, very clean, the landscape is in one word, "impressive" without a doubt who goes to Chalet Villaruè, will be getting an Experience that he won't forget.

Karl and Ursala’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for; a secluded destination surrounded by nature and a warm community. As mentioned by the hosts and previous reviews, the location is remote yet the drive to get there is actually quite beautiful and part of the adventure. Karl provided detailed instructions for arriving and we had no issues and the people on site were very responsive. We recommend Maira’s fish dinner and had a great time using the kayak, swimming off the dock and taking walks on the pebbled paths. Hope to be back soon!

We had a great time as a family. The people who took care of us in the house were very attentive to the domestic service and the guardian and transfer by boat. Melvin was also attentive to communication.

lovely stay at lilian's. the place is heavenly, palm trees, tropical flowers, the sound of waves... The house is comfortable, super clean. Excellent welcome (small bouquet of flowers on the table). The people who manage the tourists are very attentive and take care of the place. You can even order typical dishes... a delight... i highly recommend it a great experience
