Let me say that our expectations were exceeded. Vacationing with staff is a game changer. Not only is the house and the view incredible, but thanks to the attention of the family staff it was a truly relaxing stayed. They drove us around in their boat, cooked breakfast and dinners, went shopping for us… They were super kind. Every day, the pool and the rooms, the terrace in the living room was cleaned to perfection. The kitchen was stacked and coffee was ready in the morning . They were just amazing. The place is amazing. I would definitely recommend.

Bei Sonja hat uns es sehr gut gefallen. Die Hütte ist nur mit einen Kanu zu erreichen, aber nur 5 Minuten paddeln. Man hat dort kein Strom oder Handyempfang. Strom ist auch in der Gegend wohl durchaus üblich, das er ausfallen kann. Im Restaurant hat man in der Regel Strom und WLAN. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wenn man soetwas in der Abgeschiedenheit sucht. Sonia mit Ihrer Familie haben uns gut bekommt, sehr lecker. Es gibt aber keine Auswahl. Es gibt, was es gibt. Um dort hin zu kommen muss man von Río Dulce aus mit dem Sammelboot für 125 Q und für das Auto vor Ort parken 50 Q pro Tag bezahlen. Sonia gibt aber sehr gute Anweisungen, wie man da hin findet. Das haben wir schon anders erlebt. Alles war sehr sauber, aber eben auf das nötige Reduziert. mitten im Urwald und es sind eben Wasserstraßen. Es ist unfassbar schön, und man hat alles was man braucht. Toilette und Dusche, bequemes Bett, Essen und ein Kanu. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis.

Es un lugar precioso en el Lago de Izabal. La playa se ve dorada; la casa se mezcla perfectamente con el paisaje. La casa es muy cómoda, diseñada para disfrutar cada espacio mientras se disfruta de la belleza del lago. Tiene muchos ambientes por lo que la hace ideal para grupos grandes; muchas cosas para hacer dentro y fuera de la casa. Muchas gracias por la atención y cuidado.

I had the opportunity to go with 12 people. place is probably for 20 people. The rooms are well equipped, hang out areas very spacious. perfect for a large family. Lidia, Israel and Willy were always on site ready to help yet not over bearing. Ramon was always available.

We had a great stay at Manati house! It's a very simple house on the river, but it had everything we needed. It was very relaxing sitting on the porch or the dock, watching the boats and birds go by. There were no other guests when we were there, so we had the house to ourselves, which was awesome! It might have felt a bit crowded if there were others there. One thing to note: once you are dropped off at the house by boat, your only means of transportation is the kayak that Julio leaves at the dock. You will need it even to get to the little store a few doors down. We didn't realize that we were expected to pay to use the kayak ($75 Q per day), when we paddled down to buy some provisions. It should really be included in the rental, as you are pretty stuck without it! You can't really walk anywhere, as there are no roads or paths to get around. Other than the kayak issue, Julio was very helpful and responsive, and even picked us up in his boat and brought us to Livingston (for a fee).

Chalet Villaruè y nuestra anfitriona Noelia, superaron pero por mucho nuestras expectativas, el paisaje natural, acompañado de la increíble atención de Noelia y de las comodidades que ofrece el lugar, hicieron una experiencia inmejorable. Noelia estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento, desde nuestra llegada hasta nuestra partida, en verdad nos hizo sentir en casa. El Chalet Villaruè està decorado detalladamente y en cada área del lugar con muchas antigüedades, las mismas que Noelia nos explico su procedencia asì como su funciòn para las que no conocíamos, eso da un valor agregado, ya que el lugar està lleno de historia. el lugar esta provisto de tantos lugares para el descanso o esparcimiento que a veces se hace dificil escoger un lugar para estar ya que todas sus areas son preciosas, cuenta con un cannopy para pequeños, y se nos proveyò inclusive equipo de sonido asì como un Karaoke para terminar de divertirnos en nuestro viaje, El Chalet queda a la orilla del Lago, una playa sumamente tranquila y cabe resaltar que es muy pero muy limpia, el paisaje es en una palabra, "impresionante" sin duda alguna quien vaya al Chalet Villaruè, estarà obteniendo una Experiencia que no olvidarà.

Karl and Ursala’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for; a secluded destination surrounded by nature and a warm community. As mentioned by the hosts and previous reviews, the location is remote yet the drive to get there is actually quite beautiful and part of the adventure. Karl provided detailed instructions for arriving and we had no issues and the people on site were very responsive. We recommend Maira’s fish dinner and had a great time using the kayak, swimming off the dock and taking walks on the pebbled paths. Hope to be back soon!

La pasamos muy bien en familia. Las personas que nos atendieron en la casa fueron muy atentos para el servicio doméstico y el guardián y traslado en lancha. También Melvin estuvo atento a la comunicación.

Muy bonito lugar, bastante tranquilo nos gustó la casa, ya que está frente al mar, la persona que nos recibió y nos dio las llaves fue muy amable. También Meibe fue muy amable, aunque no los conocimos en personas estuvieron pendientes y contestaban rápido los mensajes. Solo talvez algo que mejorar sería la entrada ya que si uno va caminando en época de lluvia hay mucho lodo, y es un poco difícil caminar. Gracias a que hay un camino de cemento se logra pasar una parte sin lodo. Pero no es obstáculo para poder disfrutar el ambiente que brindan. Sin duda regresaremos!

très bon séjour chez lilian. l'endroit est paradisiaque des palmiers des fleurs tropical le bruit des vagues .. la maison est confortable super propre. excellent acceuil (petit bouquet de fleurs sur la table). les personnes qui gèrent les touristes sont très attentionnées et prennent soin du lieu. vous pouvez même commander des plats typiques.. un délice ... je recommande vivement un très belle expérience
