Spectacular Punta de Palma - Playa Bonita

VivianRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Excellent! The place is heavenly, super private and the care of the guardians makes you feel comfortable and reliable. We are traveling with our kitten and the place is totally safe and pet-friendly. It's not hard to get to, but keep in mind that it's about 50 minutes on the ground. The cleanliness is excellent, both at the house and on the beach. The guardians were waiting for us to arrive, to provide us with the boat service to tourist sites, they made sure that we were totally comfortable. The house has all the basic amenities, air conditioning, privacy, etc. It is preferable to bring your own food and supplies as there are no nearby places to shop.

There are no words to describe our experience. Starting with how amazing Guillermo is as a host, the natural beauty of the area, and the house is just amazing. If you are looking for a great experience at Izabal look no further.
A sailboat is docked at the marina, surrounded by other vessels. The sky is bright with scattered clouds, and sunlight reflects off the water. The wooden dock extends alongside the boats, creating a navigable path between them.

Chalet Villarrué, Izabalito

ByronRating, 5 stars92 months ago
Chalet Villaruè and our host Noelia, exceeded but far exceeded our expectations, the natural landscape, accompanied by the incredible attention of Noelia and the comforts offered by the place, made an unbeatable experience. Noelia was attentive to us at all times, from our arrival to our departure, she really made us feel at home. The Chalet Villaruè is decorated in detail and in every area of the place with many antiques, the same ones that Noelia explained its origin as well as its function for which we did not know, that adds value, since the place is full of history. the place is equipped with so many places for rest or recreation that it is sometimes difficult to choose a place to be since all its areas are beautiful, it has a cannopy for children, and we were provided with even sound equipment as well as a Karaoke to finish having fun on our trip. The Chalet is on the shore of the Lake, an extremely quiet beach that is very, very clean, the landscape is in one word, "impressive" without a doubt who goes to Chalet Villaruè, will be getting an Experience that he won't forget.

Cabin, next to the river's source.

LaurenceRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This stay at Javier's was the most memorable of my 3-month trip to Guatemala. Everything is as described, the beauty of the place, accessible only by boat, the peaceful life of the inhabitants of this Quee Chi village, the river and its natural pool, the birds... And Javier, his kindness and attention, his good food and walks to discover the region... I feel "lucky" and I hope to make you want to come and disconnect in this unique environment too!

Nice place, very spacious, clean, with a spectacular lake view. In the kitchen, everything you need, well equipped. An inconvenience, in two rooms they do not cool the air conditioners and it would be good to place in the non-slip strip. I recommend the place, we would come back again.

Welcome to Via Dulce Brisa.

This is finally a lovely and clean place to stay in Livingston! The place is secure, the bungalow clean and very pretty. You have direct access to the beach, but the beach is dirty and there is quite a strong current. We then took a mototaxi to the nicer beach. You can walk from the cabin to the center or to the boat dock in a few minutes. There are no mosquito nets over the beds in the cabin, but the cabin was also mosquito-free. If you always keep the door closed, mosquitoes don't come in. Since it was a little colder than usual in Livingston we were missing duvets, we were glad we had long clothes to sleep. In the cabin it was quiet in the evening, although there was a worship service in one of the neighboring houses, we were able to sleep well. Since we didn't go by boat until 14:30 on the departure day, we couldn't check out until 14:00 for a fee of 50 Quetzales instead of 11:00 am.
A shaded outdoor seating area is presented, featuring a white table set with blue glasses. Surrounding flora includes palm trees and vibrant greenery, creating a serene backdrop against the coastal view in the distance.

Playa Paz

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the cottage! The beautiful views and the soothing sounds of nature made for an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Maximo and Annette were outstanding hosts – welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. We also want to give a special shoutout to German and Lucky, who took great care of us during our stay. Their help and kindness made our experience even better, and we really appreciate them. This was a 10/10 stay, and we can’t wait to come back!

We loved the experience at Casa Manatí. We were only going to stay one night, but the place is so magical that we ended up staying two nights. The service and communication with Julio was excellent, he helped us with the request for boat transportation. The location is perfect for relaxing and connecting with nature.

Tabhita Cabin

AmirahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This location is beautiful and absolutely private. It is accessible by boat only, so it is wise to go grocery shopping before arrival. There is a nice kayak. I'd suggest folks to bring a fishing pole as there's plenty of fish in the waters. Take part in securing your daily catch of fish if you can. The home provides a quaint experience.
A compact kitchen is equipped with white cabinetry and a stainless steel refrigerator. A small sink is positioned on the countertop, accompanied by a microwave and a gas stove. Decorative floor tiles add character to the space, while natural light enters through a window.
