Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Aldehoeve is a characteristic Frisian farm from 1860, just 5-minute walk from the old city center of Workum. Three apartments have been built in the farm: Ien, Twa and Trije. Trije offers space for up to 4 people. On the ground floor you'll find the cozy living room with open kitchen and bathroom with toilet. On the 1st floor (accessible via stairs) there are 2 bedrooms. The rear bedroom has no windows. Both the downstairs area and the upstairs bedrooms have their own air conditioning.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Our beautiful studio is located in a unique location in the center of the historic town of Workum, one of the eleven cities of Friesland, near the IJsselmeer with its lovely beach. The studio with panoramic views over the countryside is located behind the house on the Merk and in the middle of the center near one of the most beautiful squares in Friesland.

Next to our small nature campsite (this is only open during the summer holidays) is a beautiful vacation home in the middle of nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
