Spacious cabin beside the sea
Situated in the township of Braes, only a 15 minute drive from Portree, our cabin 'moonen' overlooks the Sound of Raasay. It sits on the sea side of an old church building, near the shoreline. It is peaceful here and a haven for wildlife. You can sometimes see whales and dolphins from your window and seals and otters on the nearby shore. Roe deer, sea eagles and buzzards are a common sight too. Enjoy beautiful views over to the Island of Raasay from both the bedroom and living area.

Remote Raasay Cottage
This cottage is in a remote position on the Isle of Raasay, and is the highest dwelling on the Isles. The weather can be extreme. The sunroom faces WSW looking out at Skye from the Cuillins up to Trotternich. You can walk directly from it up Dun Caan and down to Inver beach. It is a traditional croft cottage, with some original features retained. Wi-fi is good enough for emails, but not for video calls. Not necessarily suitable therefore for working online.
