Vacation rentals with breakfast in Island County

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalet. The house is super clean, and has amazing views of the water and sunset. We loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the sunset. The kitchen is spacious with modern appliances and basic pots and pans. The bedrooms were clean and beds were comfy. We have zero complaints and would recommend this house for friends and families.

Only issue I had was trying to figure out lock box: hold the button down on left while tilting silver part out. Although listing says there is no cable there is WiFi. I just assumed no cable meant no wifi so that was a plus. Lovely location and view and the bed was very comfortable. I traveled for knitting retreat and was only there for the evenings but would have been comfortable hanging out there during day as well.

I needed some solitary down-time and The Christopher Robin Writers Cabin was so perfect. I was greeted by the goats, geese, and chickens as I walked along the enchanted path to my space. The sweet little cabin was just right for me and my dog to relax in. Elizabeth had made me some delicious chocolate chip cookies as a welcome gift. The claw foot tub in the bathhouse was the perfect way to relax after my adventures on the island. I was serenaded to sleep by a chorus of frogs and slept wonderfully in the very comfy bed. This is in a great location, not far from Langley. I hope to return to this magical little spot again!

This is a very comfortable, pleasant and quiet place to stay. It is quite roomy, has high ceilings with an abundance of light and a very comfortable bed. The layout of the kitchen and bathroom blend in very nicely making the unit feel quite expansive. The unit is very tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Rachel was very responsive and a delight to communicate with. I found the location to be very convenient. It is close to groceries, restaurants, views and hiking trails in the woods or along the beach. Plus Plus you are staying on a vegetable farm looking out on the crop areas. It is an excellent value and I will definitely stay here the next time I am in the area.

We had such an AMAZING stay at LoveShine! I was traveling for work to attend the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend. My husband and our thirteen year old son also accompanied me. We had plenty of room for work and play and the view of the water was just gorgeous and so relaxing. The house is even more beautiful in person. Debi has added many thoughtful touches and as other reviewers mention, she’s hands down one of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve ever encountered. She’s incredibly attentive—the premade breakfast is so thoughtful and was really appreciative as we were a bit exhausted when we got in. However, as attentive as she is, she also gives you plenty of space. The home’s location achieves a similar balance. You can easily feel disconnected from the hustle and bustle of life at LoveShine, yet you can also access town relatively quickly. It’s a great jumping off point for hiking, water sports, fishing, and dining. If it’s still available while you’re searching—book it!

This was our second stay at the Secret Cabin, and it was just as incredible as the first. We've stayed at several places on the island, but this one is by far our favorite! Carolyn goes above and beyond to create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere—we felt at home the moment we walked in. Despite some less-than-ideal weather, the Secret Cabin provided a perfect haven for relaxation. We highly recommend it in every way.

We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Andi provided quick and helpful responses to the few questions we had prior to, and during, our stay. The suite is clean and comfortable, and the photos/descriptions are accurate. The property is very peaceful and quiet. Check in/out was easy and the location was very convenient for visiting the local tulip farms, as well as stores and restaurants in Mount Vernon. We appreciate that Andi and Brian live on the property; we had the pleasure of meeting Andi and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with her. Andi and Brian are attentive hosts, without being intrusive, and clearly strive to provide an excellent experience. We hope to visit again soon.

I enjoyed staying in this peaceful retreat located in the forest. I appreciated the location as it was easy to get to Freeland and central to the rest of the island for the activities I had planned for the weekend. We enjoyed a very nice stay here. It is a very peaceful place, and the full kitchen made nights with my 2 young boys much easier. Would definitely stay here again.
