Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Iowa County

This rural home was exactly as advertised. We were in the area for our sons wedding. Our 2 adult children and their wives spent a couple of the nights with us, and this 3-bedroom home easily accommodated us with enough space. The fully stocked kitchen was perfect for home cooked meals, and the exterior decks were great for hanging out for meals and evening conversations. The rural location felt very private, and we were able to enjoy time at Governor Dodge State Park, along with restaurants in Dodgeville and Spring Green. The hosts were great to work with. My wife and I have AirBNB'd our own home in the past and we recommend this place if you are staying in the area.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here for a long weekend. I was even greeted with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons and a treat—so nice! The place was very clean, homey, and even bigger than the photos implied. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room and hot tub. It’s also very close to the shops and restaurants in Mineral Point, plus a short drive to Cave of the Mounds and House on the Rock (amazing). The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating of an early check-in request and a mix-up about the pet fee. In case this happens to anyone else—the option to add pets when booking didn’t pop up for me—there’s a pet fee of $75. I definitely recommend it as a lovely place to stay!

The home is beautiful, clean and off the beaten path with a gorgeous view. The kitchen is huge and fun to use to make meals for everyone. Having 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms was a wonderful luxury. We hope to be back again soon. Thank you for being pet friendly!!

Our family, dogs included, really enjoyed the property. The large well-fenced yard was a game-changer for our trip and allowed us to spend hours outside playing with our dogs. The house was clean. The host was responsive and considerate, even leaving a dozen farm-fresh eggs, a block of cheese, and a bag of dog treats for us all to enjoy. We hope to stay there again in the future.

If you love historic residential architecture, the sunlit 1856 Toay House is an amazing find. Margaret Jane blends perfectly the home's original character with her personal taste, attractive furniture, art, a wonderful library, records and turntable, a well appointed kitchen, water, snacks, comfortable beds/linens, and a sauna off of the parlor! We stayed 2 nights, 2 more would have given us more time to read from her library. Highly recommended! Steve and Claudia

This place was amazing! A beautiful view of the river with a wonderful outdoor fire pit, 3 season room, and gorgeous setting in the family room. We hope we can rent this place next year!
