Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Intracoastal Waterway

Finding a affordable place to stay to visit Charleston at a affordable price is extremely difficult. That is what I discovered. You can either get scalped downtown paying thousands - maybe a night - for a mediocre hotel, or take a chance to get a vrbo or airbnb close to town and get junk house in a slum neighborhood. I had to go to a wedding. So did other family members. I tailored my search for highest guest ratings and this property came up. Yeah it took 30 minutes to drive to town. but again - anything closer was a slum or a 1000+ a night in town. I was pleasantly surprised. This property is a older ranch in a middle class neighborhood that has been COMPLETELY remodeled - and I mean COMPLETELY. New appliances, new flooring, new paint, the furniture may be original but it was comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and it was easy to travel to the city and easy to get back. My other family members picked a airbnb rental in Mt Pleasant - spent $3000 on a dump.

This was hands down the best AirBnB experience I have ever had! I arrived late and the house was all lit up. Colleen left personally touches, like fresh flowers and delicious pecan and coconut cookies. I even had a little gift waiting for me. The house felt like home. Cozy. Cute. Comfortable. Any question I had, Colleen answered right away. Great suggestions on restaurants and things to do. I, honestly, wished I could have stayed linger.

This location was perfect for the 3 of us. There was enough room for our daughter to work during the day and it was walkable to most locations.

My family and I had a nice weekend getaway at the property. It was very spacious and accommodating. We loved the bathrooms especially. The backyard area was very spacious and nice as well. I can imagine how much more beautiful it will be when the lake is full again. The only thing that was different for us was not having curtains or blinds in the whole back area (sunroom,back door, kitchen) and the front windows of the home. We live in the city area where we stay so we’re use to some sort of closure. Other than that definitely worth the price. Would highly recommend this property and come back again ourselves. The place was exactly as described. We were grateful for clear entry instructions since we didn’t get there until almost 10 pm. So happy to have coffee and creamer/sweetener ready to go for morning. We only stayed a couple nights to do a visit at College of Charleston. Super easy to get to everything we needed.

John's place was perfect for our family's 2-night stay! When arriving it was easily accessible with door code. The house was so clean, and the 4 bedrooms were cozy and warm with decor and comfortable bedding. We were well satisfied with all the space. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessities and appliances! We enjoyed our stay and John communicated well with us making sure we had everything we needed! It was so nice to meet him! We did our annual golf fraternity golf trip and this year several guys stayed at Sea Oats on Lockwood Folly. They all enjoyed staying at this home and I received comments like, "very comfortable," "clean, with plenty of amenities and convenient" and "a great house." Marty is a wonderful host and always responded to any question I had. The house description you see is exactly what you'll get and we plan on renting it again next year.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The condo was nicely decorated and clean! We loved the fully stocked kitchen, large mirrors, board games and the lavender pillows. I usually travel with a candle, but it was so nice to see there were 4 large candles to choose from - very nice touch! Rueban was very responsive and gave awesome instructions on how to access the community and condo. We would recommend to our family/friends and will be back! Thank you for making our spring break an enjoyable one.

It took us awhile to pick our Airbnb for Charleston, but we were glad we picked Bohemian Darts hosted by Brett. We came to Charleston for a girls weekend with long time high school friends. The price was reasonable. The location was excellent; we could walk to North King and easily drive into the historic section. The apartment is a single second floor unit above a design business. The apartment was clean and spacious with simple, tasteful decor. The kitchen was well equipped, including a drip coffee maker and dish washer (and 8 coffee mugs!). The living room was comfortable for four of us to hang out in between activities. Brett was quick to respond to the wifi/Internet issue caused by a local outage. Parking is available onsite for one car. There is a coffee/smoothie/breakfast/wine shop across the street and a bagel place a block or two toward King. We would stay here again! (and yes, there are darts, but we didn't play)

We had a great stay in Charleston. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. Extremely walkable location, with many restaurants, bars and activities nearby. The unit we stayed in was perfect for the two of us, clean, quiet and very private. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back. Thank you for everything Ashley.

Great location, parked the car and walked everywhere. Nice to have the patio and 3 bathrooms with a large group. Quiet location at night.

We had a very nice stay. Plenty of space and we loved the wooden floors. It was perfect for our one night stay to visit Charleston. Much more reasonable price compared to the local hotels.

My family enjoyed staying there. It was comfortable, beautiful, peaceful, friendly, clean, and we literally had the best sleep we have had in the longest time, those beds were so comfortable. We really enjoyed the doc and the pool.

Super comfortable bed! Slept great. Loved the shower and plenty of hot water. Lovely views front and back. Saw Chris and the puppy a few times...super friendly and let my kids throw the ball with the sweet pup. :) Would stay here again except my daughter is moving to a different area in Wilmington.

Very nice and spacious house. The outside pool and hot tub area is like an oasis of its own. They had pool toys and a great sitting area on the huge outside patio. The washer and dryer are huge. Very pleased with our stay here.

We would definitely return. Great Place!. Nice deck area and back yard enclosed. The beds were comfortable. The golf cart made it fun. Missing a couple of minor modern conveniences - there could have been more washcloths and towels. And there were no coasters. Neither of these would prevent us from returning for sure. A very nice place. Thank you.

While in the area for the Azalea Festival in Wilmington, we rented this beautiful home! It was close to Wilmington activities, but is a perfect location in Carolina Beach, walking distance from many restaurants, shops and activities. We loved the spaciousness, upscale furniture and gorgeous kitchen. But the best feature, by far, was being feet from the beach! It was so peaceful that we sat outside and in the living room for hours just enjoying coffee, the sound of the surf and the sun coming up. When we arrived, we did find that the beds were not made. But the cleaner arrived quickly after a quick call and had the bedding completed by the time we came back from dinner. I would recommend that the owners considering a variety of mattress firmness. All the bed seemed very firm to me and I had a difficult time sleeping. But all told, we hope to come back again with other family members so they can experience this gem at the Carolina Beaches!

My family and my aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents stayed at Salubrious View Too a handful of times when I was a kid. We’ve all had wonderful memories of this house, view, and sunset beach. This year, my parents and aunt and uncle are the grandparents, we are the parents, and the cousins’ children are the grandchildren. Amazing to be able to carry on the tradition to another generation. So thankful for our time at Salubrious View Too and cannot wait to return again.

Beautiful location and packed with amenities. Walkable to the beach and just a quick car ride to dozens of restaurants and shops. Super clean space. Would definitely return.

This was a great spot for our group of three women. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. We were able to prepare some meals there and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable with great linens. The family room was a great space to hang out together. This was a great location and a quick walk to the private beach area.

Sandra’s place was amazing. My family and I enjoyed celebrating my birthday there this weekend. Even with a little bit of bad weather, we enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the music outside. Sandra’s place is excellently stocked. She equips you with everything you need to have a wonderful, relaxing time.
