Beautiful secluded house, quiet and good connection by public transport

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

Thank you Joanna for a lovely stay. We stayed here for 3 nights in October and it’s safe to say that the pictures do not do this place justice. The place is private and it is an excellent location with lots of activities (kayaking, paddle boarding). We enjoyed it a lot!

Very nice place to stay in, which was warmly decorated with full of things to do inside and outside. We have been there with friends and two babies. The place was warm for a cold autumn. The towels and linens were super clean and smelling really fresh. We loved the jakuzi and the balcony as the lights on the patio was soo authentic that we didn't want to go inside. Erica was super reachable and able to answer any questions quickly. Highly recomending.

Beautiful place, felt very spoilt to have our own sauna and hot tub inside our accommodation. We absolutely loved it, beautiful walks on your doorstep.

Very lovely place to stay when you want to explore Stockholm but prefer calm time too. Felt like I was at home. Very social cat there sat with me through night and helped me to study (distraction was perhaps bigger). Would recommend it to anyone (emotional support by the cat).

Pia's cabins were absolutely magical and even topped all the nice pictures. A fantastic idyll with a completely private location, calm and quiet but at the same time always something to look at with boats passing by, etc. Fresh and clean cabins with very charming decor and stunning views. The icing on the cake was definitely the wood-fired sauna and being able to walk straight out and dive in the water. A real memory of a lifetime for everyone in the family! Pia was also a great host and gave us lots of great tips. We'd definitely love to come back!

2nd time staying in this Very Cozy Cottage/Swedish Stuga with my family, its surrounded by lushous green forest with a short walk to the nearby lake, excellent for a family retreat, the house is well kept and in great condition, plenty of space both in and outside with a well equipped kitchen area for cooking, has a modern stove with an oven, we also used the bbq/grill thats available to cook our meals, plenty of options for making meals. Our kids also loved playing out in the garden on the grass area. Toilet paper and several other necessities are kept well stocked by the host for us guests to use. Also the host Daniel is a very friendly host and responds quickly to any questions one might have, would definetly recommend a stay here to others, feeling rejuvinated after our stay :)

Extremely pleasant stay, everything we needed for a perfect forest retreat was there. Mattias went out of his way to give us helpful advice. Location also lends itself well for daytrips to Stockholm (using the commuter's train, for instance). Well recommended and would be happy to visit again!

Carl was very responsive and the property has a beautiful view of the sea and a well equipped kitchen. We had bad weather but would be amazing in the summer!

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!

Mattias is an absolutely wonderful host who cares deeply about the convenience of his guests. His hospitality and service are top-notch and can only recommend staying over in their Airbnb if you want a cozy and comfortable accommodation that is bang for the buck! A beautiful view is added :) We even got a free upgrade and were so warmly welcomed. 10/10. If we have the roads past again, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book Mattia's Airbnb again.

I had such a beautiful experience staying here that I can’t stop talking about it to my friends. The island is stunning and with everything that the hosts make available for use, like the kayak, there’s plenty to do. It’s quiet and private, with plenty of areas where to lounge and look at the sunset. The cottage photos don’t make it justice as it’s even more cute and curated than it appears. The hosts are incredibly kind , helpful and down to accomodate requests and necessities. I will always remember this place and keep it in my heart hoping to go back!

Mikael was an exemplary host who made us feel at home. A very nice cottage, perfect for a family to spend a few days in the archipelago, regardless of the weather. The kids loved everything that could be done. A well-equipped kitchen with real wine glasses, sharp knives and basic range of spices, oils, etc. that made it a delight to cook. Can really recommend Mikael's cabin.

We came to Lena and her sheep for the second time. We had a great time again. The sheep had just gotten lambs, beautiful sight!

The house is nice, cosy, carefully decorated and with a matching bunch of fresh tulips, that was great ! Fully equipped for cooking and bikes available for guests. Great place for discovering the archipelago.

Aasa’s stuga is beautifully located surrounded by forest with a view through to the lake. It is quiet with great bird life. The sun room is light and airy. The double bedroom small and cosy. Kitchen very workable. Small verandah a wonderful sun trap!. We much enjoyed our time there, Robyn

Cozy cottage at a peaceful place. The only unfortunate thing is that you can sometimes hear the planes from Arlanda airport. Furthermore, a very quiet area. Accommodation was definitely sufficient, all necessary comfort was present. Everything met the description. We were with 2 people and had more than ample room.

Comfortable, pretty and surrounded by nature, 2 min walk from the dock for swimming; very pleasant and relaxing stay with many trails in the forest from the accommodation. Very welcoming hosts.

We enjoyed our 5 nights very much and found an accommodation that corresponded 1:1 to the description and the pictures. The house, or rather the houses, are not new, but totally fulfill their purpose. We enjoyed the view at breakfast, were in the sauna and bathed at the jetty. The fireplace is a real plus! The surroundings are super quiet, the property very large and varied. The contact with Olle was always nice, reliable and helpful. This place is just perfect for nature lovers and people who like it lonely! We will definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay at Gabriel's guesthouse. The cottage was superbly equipped and we could enjoy the tranquility of the archipelago.

Anna’s cottage was perfect for a getaway from the urban adventures of our previous trip to Stockholm. There were plenty of activities for us to do: taking a dip in the lake, going for hikes in the beautiful woods surrounding the house, baking bread over open fire in the garden, relaxing in the sauna and much more. We had to change our holliday plans and Annikki and Gregor made it possible for us to come a few days earlier. They are very friendly. We were in the cabin for 8 days, late August. The island and archipelago are beautiful and this time of year very quiet. We came by boot and bus but public transport on the island and to other islands is limited (this time of year?) and the bus doesn’t always stop nearby. For the supermarket and sightseeing we could use Annikki’s and Gregors bikes so we biked a lot all over the island.
