Bungalow vacation rentals in Indonesia

My stay at Ricky’s was great! After a long day and a long drive there that ended a bit stressful, when I arrived at Ricky’s they immediately knew me by name and got me dinner. The place is more like a hostel, with community meals, jam sessions around a fire at night, and a club like area that I could tell probably had some amazing parties, but there weren’t many people there when I was staying. There’s amazing snorkeling right on site, with the chance to see some beautiful sea turtles. They also have a turtle hatchery, which was so cool! I got to help feed the baby turtles and clean their little shells! If you’re looking for a a chill and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by beauty, Ricky’s is for you! The only negative, which would only be a negative for some. Is that they do play live music pretty late at night which can be heard from the bungalows, and as I said, I can tell they probably have some pretty fun parties there during the peak season.

The two story bungalows in Beser Bay and the surrounding bungalows are all located in a stunning environment with very interesting mangroves and rock features. You will be surrounded by friendly local families who take very good care of their guests! Catch sunset at the end of the jetty, aka WiFi point. Schedule activities through what’s app or catch one of the guides the evening you arrive. Petrik and Rico took us all the way out to Pianemo to snorkel and hike and back to Waisai to catch the 9:00 ferry, it was an amazing stay overall!

Robi was super helpful and responsive. He helped us get there and back to the ferry hassle free. Thank you Robi. Had a lovely time at santi garden and enjoyed the hammock overlooking the sea!

What a lovely peaceful spot listening to the waves and relaxing. The cabin is small and basic and yes, the electricity, hot water and Wifi can fail at times but the guardians of the land are always quick to respond and put things right. Thanks Kadek, Iluh and all who looked after me so well during my stay. I arrived just before Nyepi when all the Atm's were closed so I had no cash to get some food for the day of silence. I was brought fruit and lent money so I didn't go hungry and am really grateful for such caring generosity. Thomas's detailed instructions were great too for nearby places to eat and local suggestions. Highly recommended 😊

We had a great time at Seed Resort, thanks to one of the kindest staff I have ever met in Indonesia: friendly, proactive, willing to help, dedicated to their hosts and always with kindest. The villa on itself was great, clean, private, quiet, direct access to the beach and the shower outside is lovely. From breakfast to dinner, the restaurant is very nice, diverse, and the service is impeccable. Well executed cocktails/mocktails, which is a plus. Thank you very much for the week we have spend with you, this journey will definitely hold a special place in our heart. Until next time.

We had the most amazing stay. The family are so kind and helped us book a boat to telo island and anything else we needed. The bungalows are even nicer than the pictures and the linen is so fresh and clean, you’ll be sure to have an extremely comfortable nights sleep. The location is amazing, you can watch the surf from the sun loungers and enjoy dinner while watching the sunset. We ended up staying here twice during our time in nias as we loved it so much. Highly recommend, quality and luxurious stay.

Absolutely loved every moment at Kuta Mountain bungalows! The place is simply magical—tucked near the mountains, just off the road, with such peaceful and uplifting vibes. The care and respect poured into maintaining this space are evident in every little detail. Plus, its close proximity to Mandalika means you might even catch an exciting race during your stay. But what truly made our stay special were John and his wife. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality shine through in everything they do, making you feel so welcome and at home. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience and can’t wait to return! **Highly, highly recommend!** 🌿💛

We had a wonderful stay at this villa! The host was incredibly friendly, always quick to respond, and very helpful throughout our trip. The villa was clean, well-maintained, and quiet at night—perfect for a relaxing stay. The floating breakfast was beautifully prepared and the food was delicious. Well before I landed, Yuli messaged me and kept in contact with me throughout my entire stay in Bali. If I was ever in a pickle, she would come and help me with information galore. They would make breakfast or lunch (depending on what time you’d wake up) and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The staff were also incredible. From looking after the plants to looking after myself. I also rented a bike through Yuli it was very cheap.

Nice bungalows in a good location surrounded by beautiful scenery. I enjoyed staying here and having a shower outdoors was a nice bonus. The bungalows were spacious and although there wasn't AC the fans were more than sufficient so not a problem. The place was very clean. Adrian was friendly and responsive, helping us with anything we needed. He was able to help us rent a scooter which made things easier. I would recommend staying here

Very nice and private areal. The big Bungalow was perfect for a longer stay for two people and you won’t need the kitchen as it is easier and cheaper to go out for eating anyways. Pool and garden very beautiful and the ladies which are around during the day to maintain the areal are very kind. Daniela as also super fast in responding to our many questions! Top! 10/10

We had an amazing stay at Doni's place. What I loved the most was that it was an intimate setting. There are approximately 10 units in the compound and we share the pool and bar etc. Because you are sharing you get to know everyone staying there and it was such a lovely group from all over the world. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and there is always someone around if you need something. Claudia was so helpful and friendly and Komang and Dewa and everyone else always had a smile and were also very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone spending a bit of time in Bali. It would be better to have a scooter to get around as there is not too much really close, but this is not a problem with a scooter. Central location for Canggu and Seminyak.

It's a shame that the maximum rating of a rental on Rbnb stops at 5.0 stars. From our experience during our stay in Lovina at Annie Laviana Bungalow, my rating is in the order of 10.0 stars or even more…. Our stay at Annie's far exceeded all of our expectations and by a lot. It was an extraordinary experience. Annie received us as her family. The villa, swimming pool, large garden, location are AAA class ++++. Everything was perfect. Quiet and peaceful place. As for Annie the owner, her welcome and care for us was extraordinary. A little mother Teresa. We're lucky enough to have a new friend in our lives. Finally, paradise exists in Bali…. Chez Annie.

What a wonderful piece of paradise nuzzled deep in Nusa Penida! The trek is a bit further into the forest, but it was definitely worth it. We enjoyed the sunset, pool, and visiting with the staff. The staff is so wonderful and kind. We hope to be back!

Achmad was very helpful and prompt with his responses. The staff at the villa was friendly and easy to contact via text. The villa itself was nice and peaceful and clean. Love the traditional breakfast that arrived every morning in the metal tins. Everything was just as pictured. Only thing is that if you're terrified of insects, this might not be the place for you. BUT you are right next to the padi fields, which means it's you who are intruding into the homes of these creatures :)
