Captain Aries and his crew make an effort to show you the best of the islands and cook delicious Indonesian food. The boat has been built in Indonesia and is homely and comfortable, with plenty of space on deck for sunbathing! Air conditioning and fans indoors ensure a good night's sleep and the guys have invested in a decent sound system! Things to bring with you aside from the obvious swimwear, sunscreen etc: Rash vests / shorts for snorkeling Dry bag Refillable water bottle (water is provided in large containers) Hat Insect repellent Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience some of the untouched beauty of Indonesia.

The team was warm and welcoming, and the boat matched the description perfectly—though we were pleasantly surprised to have occasional internet access! Our guide, Teguh, was incredibly knowledgeable and truly an expert. He enriched our journey with insightful information and even surprised us one evening with a traditional Borneo music performance during dinner—an unexpected and delightful highlight. The captain, cook, and boat assistant were all friendly and engaging, generously sharing their knowledge and pointing out many interesting sights along the way. The food was outstanding—plentiful and delicious, perhaps even a bit too much! Overall, a truly memorable and well-organized experience. Highly recommended! Mustn't forget about the orangutans and other wildlife we saw. A absolutely fantastic experience.

What a great way to spend our holidays on a yacht! We are a family of 8 adults and children and the yacht fitted us very comfortably. . The well equipped kitchen lets us prepare our meals . Best of all , it is air conditioned below the deck which is welcomed on a hot day . In the evenings , we could just chill at the deck and enjoying the sea breeze . The pool at the Nongsa Marina Point can be used and Turi beach Resort is a short 5 min walk away , if you like to dine at the restaurants . The crew were very helpful during our stay and it was nice of them to pick us up at the Ferry terminal . Overall this is a memorable holiday for us . Hope to come back someday.

The boat is very essential but it has everything is needed. You sleep in a tiny cell in the middle of the boat. Our guide, Yos, was very nice and it has been a pleasure to deal with him during our 2 days trip. the Komodo park is big, so a lot of time is spent on transfers. Having a nice guide is more important than you think... Also the rest of the crew was great, they made us feel welcome and safe. The food they prepared us was very good and various, from breakfast to dinner. The trip in Komodo is fantastic, snorkeling is amazing in almost every island there. So you'll be good no matter what they propose you. Overall a great experience!

We where looking for a real adventure, traveling with my son 5 years old who loves to swim and explore! The Wooden Boat was a very special experience for him . Crew helpful and friendly, I can recommend staying on the Pirate Ship for everyone who appreciates Indonesian Culture and Food , and loves Boat Life
