Pa's Retreat. Cozy cottage for fishing families

Amazing fisherman's paradise. Burt lake access across the road & boat launch is just 1/2 mile away. Lots of parking. Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. Unfortunately, there is NO TV or WiFi, and cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

Clink's cabin is comfortable and close to lake access, State park, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile trails, wineries, and lots of area attractions. 1.2 miles to state park with public launch. 1.3 miles to Devoe beach/veterans pier. Snowmobile trail entrance .25 mile Within 30 minutes to everything Northern Michigan!! One room rustic cabin with private bath Sleeps 4 max comfortably. Small refrigerator, coffee pot ,microwave, outdoor firepit, and outdoor propane grill. Heat in cabin is a propane space heater and electric space heater. Overlooking small pond. We currently have bald eagles and golden eagles sighted daily. Close to the snowmobile trail, 4-wheeler trails, horse trails and the Pigeon River State forest. I-75 does run along side of property, but has a tree line which blocks the sight of it.

Clean, cute, and welcoming! PLEASE NOTE: Vanderbilt is a small, quiet town. For more things to do, visit Gaylord (8 miles), Boyne City (15 miles) or Petoskey (20 miles). Please do not book this space expecting otherwise. Thank you. This historic property dates back to the 1930’s-1940’s so please note this home is old and has a wall furnace in the living room, therefore closing the bedroom doors can make it colder in there during the winter months. There are space heaters in both rooms.
