By some distance our favourite stay on the road trip, will absolutely be coming back if we can!

We had a great stay in Tupper Lake, which we used as our home base to hike in the Seward Range. Moody Sunset had everything we needed and more. The kids enjoyed lounging in the basement and playing all the games available. And we enjoyed the beautiful views, cozy fireplace, and well-stocked coffee bar. It was also great to have a Google speaker (something we use at home often). And the ADK stickers, welcome note, and sparkling water at check-in were a really nice touch. Would absolutely recommend Moody Sunset for anyone looking to explore the area. You won't be disappointed.

We have been coming to Lake Placid for 15 years and this was by far the best house we’ve ever stayed in. Jonathan has thought of everything. There was no amenity we thought was missing. The house was immaculate. The property is beautiful and spacious; we had no issue accommodating 7 adults. Next time we come back to Lake Placid we will definitely be reserving this house again.

Nancy’s place was clean and in a great location. We enjoyed walking downtown for meals and events. She was incredibly communicative and kept us in the loop for all current events, check in/check out instructions and more. Thanks for having us Nancy!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on Saratoga Lake! The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was definitely the dock—it made fishing right from the property incredibly easy and fun. Vicki and John were wonderful hosts—super responsive and available for any questions we had throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and making more great memories. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful lakefront escape in the Saratoga area.

The thought Jodi has put into her place is remarkable! Not only is it tastefully decorated but it is practically fully stocked with just about anything you could need! It is local to almost all attractions my family and I were interested in. It comfortably housed my family of 3 plus our puppy. My puppy was a big fan of the dog bed and dog toys that Jodi had there already. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Lake Placid area! I am hoping to make a return trip!

Enjoyable stay, great location for fishing with lakefront on Schroon Lake right across the street

I mean all we can really say is WOW. My family loved this house. It’s super spacious and ALL of the finishes are so high quality. We felt like we were living in a Pinterest board and fittingly were taking pictures of some of our favorite furniture and ideas for our own homes. We had 6 adults and 7 children total in our party and had lots of room to spread out. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and the water was very warm! All of the provided linens and towels just felt like you were staying at a fancy hotel. Soaps and shower materials were the same. Honestly there’s not enough good things we could say about this place and we would love to return when visiting family in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay! This Airbnb was the perfect place for our family to getaway and enjoy the amazing pool, plus the cosy house to relax in. Yasiel was very accommodating and responsive and was a great host! We’re already trying to plan our next trip back - can’t recommend enough!

The house was perfect, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was phenomenal, and the hot tub was too! It was quiet except for the hound dogs across the street but the noise wasn't constant. Our only issue was that there was an extreme heat wave and the house does not have air conditioning. We had to leave two days early because of this but it had nothing to do with the house. It was amazing and we may end up booking it again. Karen was very responsive and helpful and she even refunded the two days of pool fees that we didn't use. I would highly recommend this place to others, especially if you have a large group. The house has everything.

I would highly recommend any of Jon's cabins! Located just a few miles out of town. I was able to obtain that country life while being very close to amenities and Lake George! It was a very clean space and had everything we needed for a lengthy stay! Jon was also very quick to respond. Hoping to book again in the near future!

My wife, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at Shyra's place. The home was clean, warm, and welcoming—our dog felt right at home. Waking up to stunning views of the high peaks from the backyard was truly unforgettable. Short drives to Schroon Lake and Ticonderoga. A great home base of you're looking to hike any of the Adirondack high peaks. Shyra was communicative and very responsive throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We truly enjoyed our stay. We are city folks so it was a great getaway. Very peaceful. Camille and staff were excellent, very hospitable and accommodating. They made us feel very welcomed. The airstream was exactly what we hoped for. Comfortable, quaint, and clean! We have everything we needed. The camp store is also convenient to grab snacks and necessities.

We picked this spot to be a launching point for hiking etc. if we’d known how gorgeous the river is right here on Jonathan’s land, we would have built in more time in our trip at the Airbnb!

Cozy, well-appointed, inviting home in a beautiful, quiet setting. We had a wonderful, relaxing time, exactly what our family was looking for after visiting extended family for the holidays. Got lucky with the snow giving the kids a taste of what they miss living in warm weather now and the view?! Just perfect! Clear home instructions, easy check-in/check-out, lovely touch with the local wine, and host was very nice and responsive with great recommendations. Cute town with local shops nearby. Thank you so much for hosting our winter getaway!

My friends and I LOVED staying here. It was a little tricky to find, as there were no instructions regarding the suspension bridge you need to cross to find the house. The water from the tap definitely smelled a little funny which wasn't that big of an issue and we decided to get more water from the store for washing hands and such. Other than that we had a great time. There were so many sleeping options, so everybody got their own bed. Also the huge CD selection was a giant win for the weekend. The overall vibe was incredible. We loved the decor. We would book again!!!

Our visit surpassed our expectations! There was so much space and we had everything we needed in the house to feel perfectly comfortable. It was a really enjoyable space for all of us and so much bigger than we thought. The private property is so very beautiful and The house is well equipped with everything we needed. We had a family getaway at Brooke’s cabin and we loved it - we’ve been coming to the North Creek/North River area forever and this location was absolutely perfect. Loved the privacy and the peaceful/quiet surroundings. Would love to come back for a longer stay sometime and to get down to the private beach on 13th Lake! Thank you for having us!

Kyle was a great host who responded quickly to any concerns we had. The instructions were very thorough, leaving no room for error or confusion. The house felt very cozy and had everything that was listed. It was definitely a great stay and will be recommending to others.

We had another wonderful stay at the Dollhouse. The weather was perfect and the hiking (which includes a great hike from the front door) was amazing. The sunsets on the back porch were delightful. Evenings in front of the fireplace were a great way to end the day. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. The Dollhouse worked perfect for a family gathering and everyone enjoyed their visit. Virginia is an exceptional and responsive host. We had a problem with the internet, and she responded immediately and solved the problem. We plan to be back again next year.

A beautiful home away from home. We were in town for the Black Fly Challenge and it was just perfect! Everything you could have ever needed was there for you. It was so nice to be able to prepare food at home. We will definitely stay again!!
