Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ilmenau

Superb stay at Helge’s place which we thoroughly enjoyed.

There were two of us with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and we felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, nicely decorated and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are right on the property. This took a little nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her first that the goats are not eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems at arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very nice and great for short hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and barbecue. Shopping and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We will be back!

Our stay at Chalet Birkenzauber was magical 🫶 The entire accommodation for us was super cozy, well equipped (unlimited 5G Wi-Fi, 4kSmartTv, coffee maker with all kinds of pad hangers etc...) and offers a magnificent view and because we were there over New Year's Eve we had a fantastic fireworks spectacle! The area had many highlights to offer. The museums, picturesque hiking trails and the snow park towards Oberhof with its versatile winter activities such as skiing, biathlon shooting and a fantastic view. Everything necessary like supermarkets with bakery was right nearby We didn't lack anything. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for recreation and or experiences. Thank you Mandy again for this wonderful break we were able to experience and the little touches that made it even more special! ❤️

The stay was really nice. The property is immersed in nature and has a lot to offer. Our highlights were the heated outdoor hot tub and the lower fireplace. When the weather is nice, you can hike wonderfully in the immediate vicinity, in bad weather the accommodation offers plenty of distraction. Highlighted is the protection of the property and the accommodation. I haven't felt so safe in any place so far. In addition, Manuela was very quick to respond to my messages and always a solution ready. Thanks for that!

Our time with Eileen and Michael was great! Everything as described and super nice hosts! We are very happy about the time in the house Relax and will be happy to come back.

We had a great short vacation in Ziegenrück. We liked the house even better in person than in the photos. The play and relaxation opportunities in the garden leave nothing to be desired. Although the neighbors are not far away, the garden is private behind green hedges. We particularly liked that every detail was well thought out and every smallest space was used sensibly. Above all, the furnishings of the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. The beds were very comfortable, our son grabbed the bunk and slept blissfully in it. We have nothing to complain about and would recommend the accommodation without reservation!

Dagmar's beautiful house with wonderful views leaves nothing to be desired. The reception is tremendously warm and everything is thought of in advance. Thank you! We would love to come back and enjoy the tranquility in the Rhön with its exceptionally beautiful flower meadows.

The apartment is complete and has an atmospheric interior. It is located in the city centre of Gotha, but is very quiet and private. Within 2 minutes walking we were at the market where the Christmas market was. There were also several restaurants within walking distance. Gerrit was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great week at Villa Levin. We were able to enjoy our small cozy apartment with a nice balcony. The apartment lacked nothing and was lovingly furnished. Susi was always on site as a contact person Her great kids were also very friendly and helpful Bike paths directly adjacent to the location. 100% recommendation from us Beate and Klaus

The location is fantastic. You are super fast in the old town. A park for the necessary exercise of our dog right around the corner. The only thing missing was a hair dryer. 🤣 Thank you. 🙏

A fantastically beautifully located apartment with fantastic views, great garden, beautiful and functional amenities and furnishings, very, very nice and helpful hosts, and beautiful surroundings. Very quiet, surrounded by greenery, and yet only 5 minutes' walk from the Kulmbach old town. Everything is perfect - and the value for money is unbeatable. Unrestricted recommendation!

Very nice, quiet apartment. You can walk easily into the old town and also get to the various hiking starting points. The check-in was super uncomplicated, and we were also picked up by the dear mom with an umbrella at the car. Thank you very much for that :) All in all, the stay at Rocco's was very nice and we definitely recommend the apartment.

Was really a nice deal! For the price, the place was good enough. We got the fireplace nearby which we enjoyed. Play options for kids and adults. Other guests were very friendly and my son found a friend as well 😊 Overall it’s a great experience for our family!

We stayed for a week in Michaels house in Schnepfenthal. The house is all you need for a stay with 2 kids. Spacious, full furnished kitchen, big sunny garden, a bath and a big TV with Netflix :) Loads of interesting spots for us geographers in the Geopark where Schnepfenthal is located. Nearby Gotha and Erfurt. Located in a quiet village on walking distance to a great restaurant Zur Tanne and Waltershausen town where supermarkets etc are located. A place to come back to!

Very nice cottage, pure idyll. If you are looking for pure nature and peace, you are in good hands there. Directly around you can make beautiful tours in the Thuringian forest. We would have preferred to move in. Small and fine! Thank you!

Our team (including 2 dogs) was in the apartment for a week due to work. They were completely satisfied and we will definitely book the place again when we are around again and need a place to stay!

Very quiet location and nice staff.

Were passing through. A good place to stay if you want to explore the area. In the evening, you could also end the evening nicely on the slope in front of the accommodation.

We were motorcyclists. There is enough space to park and for activities on the property. The outdoor shower and campfire area were my highlight. In addition, the terrace on which there was sun and shade from morning to evening. Also very good in terms of traffic and yet very quiet. Hannes was very friendly and accommodating. This is not just a place to stay or overnight, this is the immersion in another world, hidden in a rather unexpected place. A completely authentic log cabin with such a host. I am very excited about both and would love to come back. I was there alone for a short stay in the cold dark season, which may not be optimal for this place. In any case, Andrea was very helpful and kind and gave me more of her time than I expected. It was an honor to get to know the house and residents. However, those who expect urban comfort with only a wildly trimmed facade could be a bit overwhelmed. Everything is very real here, everyone is aware of that beforehand. If you can get involved, you may leave something behind and take something for yourself. I was curious before, unsure if this may be a bit too daring for me; but was just right. Thank you!
