The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. The small holiday apartment is on the edge of the residential area near Lake Ruschweiler. (about 4 minutes walking time). Lake Constance can be reached in about 25 minutes by car. A nature experience for bikers and hikers is the Pfrungerried nature reserve. Between the mountains Höchsten and Gehrenberg lies the so-called "Valley of Love" (Deggenhausertal) with a breathtaking panorama of Lake Constance that will make your soul smile. Pfullendorf (approx. 15 min.) also has a lot to offer.

The nearest swimming lake Illmensee or Pfullendorf is also in approx. 20 minutes.

The apartment is located in our farmhouse in which we ourselves live in a residential unit and which we are gradually expanding and renovating. There is a separate entrance.
