Vacation rentals in Ilha Graciosa

What a great place and the host was amazing. Simple cottage that was perfect for the two of us. The walk to go into Velas - down and up the hill - was challenging especially with backpacks full of food and beverages. But by the third day, we were getting the hang of it. The view from our deck was fabulous...the town, ocean and the islands, sunsets are lovely. Obrigada Aldeia.

We enjoyed our stay at Tiago’s place! It was very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor patio area. Tiago was very helpful and accommodating. The location is also very nice and walkable to lots of restaurants and the waterfront!

We enjoyed our stay very much. A very nice house with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds. A terrace with a beautiful view to see the sunrise and sunset. The owner always available and ready to answer any questions. We had a lovely welcome basket. Township Returning!

Really amazing stay with an unbeatable view. We felt like the luckiest people! Waking up every day with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water and a private, quiet balcony...just wow. It is extremely walkable right into town. Also, the natural swimming pools are RIGHT at your feet, you feel like you have VIP access to them when everyone else is struggling for parking. The Airbnb is also located close to a local rental car company, which came in handy. Antonio was a most accommodating host, providing us everything we needed. Check-in was smooth, and he gave us the #s of all the taxi cabs operating on Sao Jorge. We could do laundry if we wanted during work hours; it truly felt like staying in a little hotel. Kitchen came equipped with what we needed and linens were clean. The one drawback is it can get hot (there is no AC) -- but if you leave the lights off & doors open at night, you get the fresh breeze and no bugs even in summer.

We stayed at Maria’s place for 6 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment had everything we needed and is located in a beautiful garden. The pool is amazing and a unique find in Graciosa. Maria was extremely helpful and friendly, gave us lots of recommendations and provided us with fruit, veggies and eggs from her garden! Graciosa is small and you get to all the amazing sights and restaurants within a short car ride! Highly recommended!!!

I have stayed in airbnb's all over the world. This was my. FAVORITE!! Beautiful inside and out.... spotless, peaceful....the hosts were SOOOOO KIND, THOUGHTFUL, HELPFUL-very very special couple. THANK YOU!!

Beautiful house, very well-equipped and close to the center. Thanks to the whole team who were great from start to finish! Go there without so much as a second thought and say hello to the neighbor cow!

Unique AirBnB being inside a BEAUTIFUL WINDMILL! Great location near the beach, with one of the most popular snack bars just a few buildings down the street. Just around the corner from the two bakeries making the local pastry! Also the best view of the volcano on the island! The apartment is bigger in real life and very comfortable living room chairs and bed. Nice, local interior decorations too. Highly recommend!
