If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. The most beautiful and comfortable accommodation we have been to in the Netherlands. A great host with passion, who enthusiastically talks about the area and the rich history. The communication was excellent and the beautiful, soothing environment ensures that you can relax completely. Absolutely recommended for everyone, we are guaranteed to come back!

We were three friends staying at this Airbnb, and we had a wonderful experience. The place was clean, spacious, and had a great vibe overall. There were games available and even some travel guides and magazines to help us plan our outings. The host was incredibly helpful and always available, he lived just behind the house, so it was easy to reach out whenever we needed something. All in all, it was a beautiful stay and a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

Nadja and Bauke were very welcoming and very flexible. The house is beautiful and finds itself in the beautiful old center of Woudsend and it had everything we would need for a great getaway weekend! We will definitely come back and enjoy it once more!

Arrive and feel comfortable: warm welcome, short briefing and tips. Private retreat with nice terrace and small garden at the back out to the water. Surrounded by water, great nature. Individual since you have to take the ferry to get there ( 2 min)- uncomplicated. We used the house as a couple and found everything we need for a nice getaway. Recommended

I just love the area, so that's why I chose this place. It's an adorable little cottage on their estate, with plenty of peace and quiet. In terms of amenities, I didn't miss anything. Well, actually if they added a screen to one of the windows for some bug-free fresh air, that would be fantastic. But it was a serene setting and I could take walks close by in the beautiful surrounding woods. They had a nice big desk for me to work on. Shops and restaurants aren't that far away, either.

We had a wonderful night in this cozy and lovingly decorated house. It's really thought of everything and you immediately feel comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent, she always responded very quickly and was super helpful. Would love to come back anytime! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🦊

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

Unfortunately, we only stayed 5 days at the place, but it was really nice. Right outside the door, two pigs grunt happily and you are really right on the edge of the forest. Everything is very idyllic. You absolutely need a car to get there. There was also a supermarket about 10 minutes away by car. In the kitchen there was everything you needed. The sauna was also really great and we slept heavenly in the beds. All in all absolutely recommended.

We wanted to experience the North Sea and Haarlem and Amsterdam, the location of the apartment was ideal for that. Everything was optimally accessible by bike and train

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed very good and everything practical and nicely decorated. The location is great and a free large parking lot is just around the corner. Nel is very accommodating, quickly accessible and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

We had a wonderful time in the cabin. The place and the cabin are fantastic and Rens and Elisa w af and super friendly. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and the beautiful accommodation, we were very happy with the wood stove and the hottub that we could use for a fee. Peaceful location and Ilona was very understanding and helpful. The outdoor firepit really added to our stay, thankfully we had gorgeous weather so we could use it every night. Thank you so much, and we hope to be back soon :)

We had three wonderful days in the idyllic TinyHouse on the water:) Ruby is a great host and was always easy to reach. The area is very nice for various activities (cycling, hiking, beach, etc.) Absolute recommendation: a canoe tour through the picturesque canals!

Wonderful stay. I was welcomed and shown around openly and hospitably. The spacious is, as also described, small but nice. It is very cozy, privacy in the cottage and piece to sit outside. Fully equipped, cookware, basic necessities for both kitchen and bathroom. Everything is nice and clean. For breakfast I received 2 delicious fresh eggs from the chickens that roam around. All in all, well cared for, neat and nice.

We had a great time in the cottage in Schoorl! It is exactly big enough for two people and really everything is present. We also liked the outdoor area very much, in the evening there is exactly sun under the canopy so we could eat there nicely.

We Stayed a night in the Wagon and it was very Beautiful, the scenic streets, the serene property and the cosy Wagon, which is smartly and elegantly equipped, made this stay uniquely memorable. It was a bit chilly so we got into the warm Jacuzzi and had a relaxing time, then had a little barbecue and ended up having a lovely evening despite the rainy weather. Johan and Jannie are very friendly and respond fast to any questions, The chicken were also very welcoming. All in all this was an easy 5 Star, too bad we couldn't stay longer, we absolutely recommend it.

Irene was wonderful! She was very kind and hospitable. The bikes she had available for us to use was our favorite part of the trip! Our time spent in Hoofddorp was by far the best part about this trip to Europe. Would absolutely recommend Irene’s lodging to anyone. She was incredible from check in to check out and the accommodations were quaint and beautiful.

The cottage in the lake is really an oasis of relaxation. You can relax wonderfully among animals, water and greenery. The hostess thought of everything on site: from small touches such as champagne & chocolate for the guests to a can of snacks to feed the cattle, cuddly blankets and tea lights to sophisticated night lighting and simple explanations of how to use everything. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with extraordinary flair and love nature, this is the place to be. :)

What a beautiful B&B! Quiet and cozy and from the terrace and hot tub a beautiful view over the meadow. We enjoyed it! Jitske and her husband were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also 5 ***** worth! See you next time!
