Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! Within a few minutes' walk, you are on the beach and the cozy boulevard with catering facilities. Beach Resort Makkum is a holiday at a beautiful resort on the IJsselmeer!

This beautiful house right on the dike can accommodate up to 6 people. The centerpiece is the spacious terrace with its breathtaking view of the IJsselmeer. Whether spending time in the sun or watching the numerous surfers, sailing boats or water birds. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. The house was furnished with a lot of love to a high standard. Appliances such as a Bora hob and a Quooker hot water tap were installed in the kitchen. We look forward to seeing you.

Renovated old farmhouse near the IJsselmeer

Enjoy peace, space, and coziness at this authentic farmhouse. Our farmhouse is built in 1904 to West Frisian model, and has served as a garnish shop in addition to farmhouse. When we bought the farm, he was 116 years old, and had the necessary overdue maintenance. Little by little we are renovating the house, so it now has well-functioning heating again! We're putting Airbnb's proceeds back into the home, so we're now saving up for renovating the roof.
