The place is spectacular. Paola's attention was impeccable, super friendly, attentive to all needs, she makes you feel right at home. We guided about the places to visit, nos suggested plans to do. If they go to the Falls it is the ideal place, it is at the same distance as Puerto Iguazú, but the environment is natural, it allows to go more days and take advantage of nature. It has the lagoon a pasitos, te pods bathing, swimming, kayaking. The sunset in the Lake is DREAMED. It has a grill so we roasted almost every night. If you're reading this... don't hesitate and book now.

This is a beautiful historic large home that housed my family (5 + nanny), and our friends family (5) for over a week. The location is unbeatable. It's extremely private and peaceful and such a unique location being in a jungle on a calm river that borders Paraguay. Please expect to absolutely fall in love with morning and evening fires in the fireplace with the sounds and smells of the jungle. The staff is very helpful from making beds, cleaning bathrooms, helping with laundry (small fee) to driving us around to where we need to go (also small fee). The wifi here is pretty weak, but this absolutely is a 5 star location because we came here for the experience in a private jungle, not for internet we can get at home. The hotel restaurant is a short walk away and is 5 stars by itself. Please eat dinner there. The two local towns are good for basic groceries and produce. If you want to eat out, check out the main city by the falls. It's outstanding. We'd stay here again for sure!

“Posada” Centrally Located Residential Area near the river

Mario was super helpful and the description was accurate. The house is cute. There are a lot of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance as well as laundry. Mario recommended a driver that we used to take us to the park. Hector was fabulous. He provided airport transfers both ways and provided transport to and from both sides of the park. His price was so much more reasonable than anything I had been able to find online and he is a genuinely nice person. He can also offer other tours if you're interested. Mario's pool is great for the hot days. The beds are super firm and the kitchen is only minimally stocked. Overall, we were quite pleased with our stay. Mario is an incredibly nice host.

Ricardo welcomed us. Very kind and attentive to our arrival. He gave us directions and waited for us at a nearby point because the GPS was guiding us along another route, even though it was easy to get to. And since we were a little tired from the trip and it was late, he offered to help us buy dinner for that night. Very helpful with everything. The house is beautiful, with all the amenities and the outdoors is much better to rest and enjoy nature. You can access a stream with trails through the same place where the house is located and you can easily spend the day there. All positive things in this place, nothing to complain about. The best stay, a place to always come back to.

Carolina and her son were super helpful and attentive throughout our stay! We wrote to them several times with questions and were helped within minutes (and we were given a very delicious cake by Carolina). The place is centrally located and really unbeatable value for money! We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. I highly recommend it!

Great location — next to a bunch of good restaurants. The downtown tourist area was just steps away. Gloria was very helpful in getting us to the apartment from the Brazilian airport. Her taxi driver took us around to the falls and back to the Argentine airport for an economical price. The lodging is rustic but a good value. Gloria is very nice and helpful.

The place is just as it appears in the photos . There were no surprises regarding the operation of the air conditioning, which was my biggest fear. It was great that they allowed us to use the pool, which was available 24 hours a day, as the host told us. We enjoyed it at night without making noise, of course, respecting the hosts' rest. Nothing like a fernet to cool you down after long days of visiting and touring many places. We were also able to use the chulengo/barbecue and had a super comfortable barbecue. The area is safe and quiet. We rented a car and it was parked inside the patio, on one occasion it was left outside, without any problems. I would definitely come back !!!

stayed in the treehouse as promised which was great, and still got a great WiFi signal. breakfast was minimal but nicely presented and staff went out of there way to assist me with taxi s and restaurant recommendations even though they spoke no English. pool area also very nice.

Elsa was lovely and very helpful. The house was amazing. I was there for the first 4 days on my own but she has two other rooms. I had the room with the en-suite which was perfect. The surroundings are exquisite. I loved the jungle feel of the garden and outlook from the spacious balcony off the sitting room. You can do your laundry there for a small fee which is very helpful. Elsa has two cute friendly dogs. They are well behaved and do not come into the house. There are lots of dogs in the neighbourhood which can be noisy at night. I put the fan on in my room so I couldn’t hear them. There is also air on available in each bedroom. The house is so clean and tidy and organised. I felt very welcome indeed. I would highly recommended this house. 🏠

I booked this accomodation for my son Alfred, who is on a backbacking trip in South America and needed some nice private accomodation that is not a hostel, for a change. He really loved Elsa's place, the beautiful garden, the peacefulness and the many birds. The Iguazu falls were very easy to reach. He even stayed longer than planned!
