Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from main house. Private entrance, a private bedroom and a private bathroom. There is one b and one b space.

Sleeping at the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Wake up to the view of the dining room of a herd of horses that live in freedom, 2 pigs who make their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. However, there is a large table to play games with each other and a lovely sofa to have a glass of wine together. We were only there briefly to stay and work. That went perfectly well thanks to a stable wifi/internet connection and good table and chairs to work on. Good quality bed. Everything was very clean and tidy. Everything we needed was present. Nice outdoor space with plenty of privacy in a very quiet area. Friendly and responsive host. In short, everything was fine.

It felt like we had two cottages for the price of one. An upper floor, fresh and particularly tastefully furnished. Lots of nice touches. Beautiful crockery, nice elaborate bird theme, cozy sitting area by the window overlooking the canal. Downstairs a beautiful bathroom and - few steps outside - a very cozy lounge with jungle wallpaper, a wonderfully large corner sofa, cozy mood lights and also again overlooking the canal. Here we relaxed in the evening by the wood stove. Likeable hostess. In short: lots of quality for little money. We would go back here in a heartbeat.

Christa has been a lovely host, she has been constantly available and made us feel at home in her beautiful tiny wooden house in the Frisian countryside. Highly recommended.
