Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Idyllwild-Pine Cove

We had a wonderful Spring Break at Scott & Lucy’s place! This was our first time in Idyllwild and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! They provided so many helpful tips, the home was cute, clean, close to everything and cozy even in the snow. They were so friendly and responsive, even had a fun little “bear” spotting game to keep the kids (and us) entertained. Would definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful few days here! It was nice and cozy for our young kids and small dog. We enjoyed exploring Idyllwild and the location was great! Would stay again!

My boyfriend and I, and our pup, needed a getaway from the daily grind and wanted to check out Idyllwild. This adorable A-frame provided us with the perfect spot to do so. Nestled in the mountains with an awesome deck surrounded by trees, jacuzzi, wood burning stove, it was just what we needed. I love the style of this cabin, modern but still homey. Great location too, easy 10 minute drive into town with some awesome restaurant options and cute galleries! Great hiking all over. The hosts were great, very communicative!! We would definitely stay again! Thank you 🙏🏼

This was an ideal place for a relaxing weekend getaway! Great location, walkable to the village and to trailheads. A home away from home with everything we needed. Expectations and instructions were clearly communicated and Anna was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here!

Can’t say enough about this place! Beautiful spot only 5 minutes from town. So beautifully decorated and our family absolutely loved the amenities like the ping pong table and hot tub. Our dogs loved the large back yard and this place is so spacious and roomy. Would love to come back here!

We had the best time at the cabin! It was our first vacation as a family of 3 with my 3 month old son. The cabin was so comfortable, clean and homey. We loved the games inside and outside. The grill was great and the kitchen was fully stocked. We all slept beautifully and loved the proximity to trails and town. We want to make it an annual tradition! We can’t wait to come back.

I have nothing but exceptional words to say about Amanda, Leslie and their property manager, Carly. Carly made sure I was comfortable as soon as I arrived and helped me light the fire both nights!! I was so happy to see the “Welcome Christie and Dewey” sign as I’d brought my 15 year old pup to enjoy the outdoors with me. Being two doors down from FERRO is a dream come true! Best restaurant in town if you ask me. And you MUST enjoy the tub! There is no shower, be prepared to relax in there instead. I am beyond grateful for their hospitality and will stay again in the future!

A great stay! The place was comfortable, clean, and in a fantastic location—just a short walk to town, which made everything super convenient. I really appreciated that it’s dog-friendly, which made traveling with my pup so much easier. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, so we never had to go far for a good meal. Would definitely stay here again!

David’s place is even better than the photos. Charming, FULLY stocked with kitchen supplies, roomy and well cared for. We enjoyed using the fireplace and cooking in the kitchen, which has anything you could need, including spices.

We loved Ilka's Mid-century home! Charmed by the fact that much of the house was original from 1957 yet looked and worked great. The current furnishings, while modern, lent to the mid-century feel. The place was comfortable and quiet, with a beautiful view out back. Downtown was only a few minutes away and we had some incredible meals and cocktails in Palm Springs. Cliff, the concierge, was easy to work with and very responsive. We highly recommend Ilka's place.

We’ve been doing Airbnb rentals for quite some time, and our priorities are really down to (1) comfortable beds, (2) convenient location, (3) functioning climate control, and (4) accurate listing details. Gahl’s place had all in spades. It’s exactly like (better than?) the photos and description show. The heated pool is legitimately heated. The beds are comfortable. The A/C is great. And the location is perfect whether you’re looking to walk downtown in PS, get out to Joshua Tree, or hike locally in the canyons and hills near town. We come to Palm Springs every year, and this was easily a better deal during peak season than any hotel or inn we’ve stayed at previously. We hope Gahl’s place is still for rent and available in future years.

Fantastic spot right on the golf course. We loved Jessica’s tasteful decoration and nice little touches like guest robes that made our stay feel relaxed but luxurious. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with several good hikes within just a few minutes drive. Overall, we had a great time hanging out by the pool and hot tub and look forward to staying again.

This home is beautiful inside and out. The main room is tastefully decorated and the floors were spotless. The pool and grounds are well cared for. We loved our oasis!

Cute and comfy place! Close to everything. Spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. Hosts were very responsive. Note that there is only a mini-fridge in the kitchen and some of the furnishings need a little TLC. But it was a good value for the price and we enjoyed our stay.

This is truly a home away from home! Fully stocked kitchen with lots of pans and dishes, spices, condiments. The furnishings are comfortable and up to date. The decor is bright, cheerful and comfortble. The back yard, pool with waterfall and view of the mountains outstanding! Any questions or issues were responded to immediately. Big thanks to Bob with The Home Concierge who is a gem! Thank you, Sherri and Mark for a wonderful, relaxing stay in your lovely home!

The place was wonderful! The pool was amazing which was one of the main reasons we picked the place. There were pool floaties to use, which was great! The host was very responsive when small issues popped up. The only thing to keep in mind is there isn’t a lot of storage for clothes (small closets and no dressers). But overall this place was fantastic! Also really loved the Smeg coffee machine. (I might have to get one after using it all week!)

Jason’s home was beautiful and truly lived up to the photos on the listing. My group stayed for Coachella weekend and it was a great location for getting to a nearby shuttle stop. The yard was huge and the pool/hot tub were clean and large, and the grill was a nice add. There were a few things that would be nice to have, like more mirrors and a better coffee machine. But other than that this was an excellent home for our stay. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely time at John's beautiful home. It was clean, well-appointed, and offered just the right amount of privacy. Being able to park our car in the garage was a huge extra bonus, especially on hot days. We loved having the pool and the little cabana and enjoyed spending a lot of the time outside. Even though you definitely need a car while staying at John's place, there are several restaurants, a coffee shop, grocery store, and other shopping opportunities within walking distance.

Fabulous neighborhood and home. The back pool and Jacuzzi area is lovely. if you're not a fan of slathering the sun screen you're going to love this because you can enjoy the warmth of the sun and the fun of the pool without blaring sun. The back area is very lush and shaded. Stephen is super responsive and friendly. Be sure to take the time to learn about disengaging the pool alarm BEFORE you get to the house and accidentally open a door without disarming it first. Stephen has taken the time to provide you a picture and directions before you get there- do yourself a favor and learn the easy step before arrival.

We loved our stay at PS Hangout. The location was fantastic; it was close to downtown to enjoy all the sports. Our kids said it felt like we were staying at a resort, but we had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and we never ate a meal inside, given how excellent the outdoor space was. The pool area had fantastic views of the mountains, and the beds and rooms were very comfortable. We have no complaints about our stay!
