Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Idanha-a-Nova

Impossible to get a car directly to the front door but John assists with getting your bags from the parking.  Monsanto is a wonderful peaceful village.  And very unique with plenty of energetic walking around to be done.  A place to stay for the night once tourists have gone.   Restaurants were closed the night we were there (sunday) but there is a littly pub where you can see the sunset around the corner. Our welcome by John was first class.  Products from their farm were left for us - honey, jam, fruit, cheese, local wine etc along with biscuits for a light meal.  And the buns delivered in the morning gave us a great breakfast.  A wonderful experience by the hosts.  Newly renovated.  Stylishly done as well.  But expects to do lots of walking - its that type of village.

We had a wonderful stay here. Initially we had trouble finding the location, but the hosts were in constant communication with us and helped us find the AirBnB. The property has a lovely courtyard with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and a nice sheltered BBQ, which we were free to use. The swimming pool was an amazing bonus too! Inside the property was immaculate and well stocked with the basics (fruits, tea, coffee, cheese, ham, juice). The host offered daily bread delivery so we didn't have to worry about breakfast. It was a very comfortable stay and we really enjoyed our time in Monsanto.

Located in one of the most beautiful and iconic historical villages of Portugal, Casa Adufe is part of Villa Houses, located right in the cobblestone top area of Monsanto. Very clean house, with all needed amenities, perfectly working air conditioning and fantastic taste in terms of decoration. The host was extremely nice and clearly shows her passion about her Villa Houses. Will definitely return as soon as possible!

Originally we were planning to go to Boom festival and were looking to rent a house nearby. It turned out that the house was much better than the festival. The property is authentic and beautiful. The house is full of history and every detail is so special. We really enjoyed our time inside and outside on the patio by the swimming pool. The kids were absolutely happy there! The kitchen is so well equipped. The living room area is stunning. The bedrooms are super comfy and the air conditioner did its job providing a refreshing coolness. Highly recommend to everyone! Thanks to to the super friendly and welcoming host!

Uma semana de descanso e sossego! A casa está equipada com o necessário para 4 pessoas(fomos 3), e o ar condicionado fez toda a diferença, nos dias de calor que tivemos! Tem uma zona exterior com churrasco e mesa grande á sombra, onde fizemos todas as refeições. Na zona tem boas praias fluviais (Meimão, a nossa preferida; Meimoa e Benquerença),e locais de muito interesse para visitar: Monsanto; Penamacor; Belmonte; Idanha, .. San Martin de Trevejo em Espanha, etc. O António Fidalgo, é uma pessoa muito culta e de conversas interessantes. Sempre atento ás necessidades. Gostamos muito e recomendamos!

Desde do momento que chegamos a casa nos sentimos acolhidos pela Dona Ana. Foi tudo como descrito e ainda melhor. A casa era super confortável, preparada para o frio e com tudo que tínhamos direito. Muitos jogos, livros e cozinha completa para passar o Natal. A casa era em uma região calma mas que tinha tudo a volta. Exatamente o que procurávamos. Obrigada por toda a recepção e carinho. Já queremos reservar para o ano que vem. Foi um prazer passar o Natal em Proença - a-Velha.

Eu e a Arya nos divertimos imensamente com Zarah, seus amigos e todos os cães. Fico muito agradecida pela hospitalidade, nos fizeram sentir em casa. Foi muito divertido ter as vossas companhias, agradeço também por se esforçarem pra me acolher. Com certeza voltaremos, recomendo vivamente. Cheguei bem tarde da noite, e Zarah estava em contato comigo sempre para ajudar, e foi muito simpática e prestativa. O lugar é muito lindo, o trailer é bem privado, e as vistas são incríveis. A vontade é de ficar mais tempo, muito aconchegante. Foi um fim de semana muito agradável. Amei conhecer todos, e espero ver-vos novamente em breve! x

A casa é muito bela e confortável, e a vista da sala de estar é incível! A localização, dentro da aldeia de Monsanto, é um privilégio, pois para além de estar dentro de uma aldeia que é por si só uma viagem no tempo, há sinalética para os locais históricos que são acessíveis a curtas caminhadas. Assim, é possível efetuar todas as visitas de forma autónoma. Vale agradecer o acolhimento da Sra. Agostinha, que foi muito pontual e gentil.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés chez José pour une nuit mes deux enfants et moi afin de nous reposer durant notre trajet. José et sa maman ont été adorable et nous ont accueilli malgré l’heure tardive. J’ai apprécié le calme, la propreté et le confort du studio. Je recommande ce lieu lorsque vous êtes de passage. José et sa famille sont des personnes vraiment gentilles et faisant preuve d’une grande hospitalité. Merci encore à toi José 🙏 La bise à ta maman 😘

Un endroit très tranquille parfait pour faire une pause pendant un voyage mouvementé. Très beau logement bien équipé dans la campagne portugaise. Je recommande ce logement comme escale de repos.
