Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Idanha-a-Nova

Meriem is the best host you can imagine. During the whole stay, we felt like home, she was very responsive and helpful. Her beautiful dog Ishka is super friendly. The place itself is beautiful - it is right in the middle of the farms, surrounded by fields. You may see some wild animals here, and enjoy the silence and clean sky with tones of stars. It is pretty hot during summer, but the room has air conditioning.

A week of rest and quiet! The house is equipped with the necessary for 4 people (there were 3 of us), and the air conditioning made all the difference on the hot days we had! It has an outdoor area with a barbecue and large table in the shade, where we had all our meals. In the area, there are good river beaches (Meimão, our favorite; Meimoa and Benquerença), and places of great interest to visit: Monsanto; Penamacor; Belmonte; Idanha, .. San Martin de Trevejo in Spain, etc. António Fidalgo is a very cultured person and interesting to talk to. Always attentive to needs. We really liked it and recommend it!

We had a very pleasant stay at Sara’s place. This house is so charming and very well taken care of. Perfect location to enjoy a little adventure and be out visiting the cutest village in Portugal! I’d recommend Sara’s place without hesitation :)

Originally we were planning to go to Boom festival and were looking to rent a house nearby. It turned out that the house was much better than the festival. The property is authentic and beautiful. The house is full of history and every detail is so special. We really enjoyed our time inside and outside on the patio by the swimming pool. The kids were absolutely happy there! The kitchen is so well equipped. The living room area is stunning. The bedrooms are super comfy and the air conditioner did its job providing a refreshing coolness. Highly recommend to everyone! Thanks to to the super friendly and welcoming host!

Antonio is super responsive and made it easy to find the location. The room is just as displayed. Shower is small, but everything works well. Has an A/C for cold/heat too, which was great as it was a cold night when we were there. Definitely recommend. Tight streets, but nice to have parking up by the room. You could also park at the lesser-known bottom gate and walk up, very close to the room as well. If you have a small car then you could drive from that small gate. Didn't find great restaurants in Monsanto, but Antonio suggested another one, so we walked the 15 minutes to the town beneath that had a place called O Carlos that had good food and was open until 10pm. Castle ruins are great. Monsanto town is like a story book. Amazing sunsets.

I liked the place and the accommodation. Original environment. Making a rooftop terrace was a great idea! Beautiful views around. The house was warm and interesting.

Staying here was something out of a fantasy novel. It was a pleasure to stay within the walls on Monsanto and experience a truly medieval stay. The beds were wonderful and the view was beyond amazing. Eating dinner and watching the sun go down was an unforgettable experience here.

One-night stay, very good. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful setting. Susana and her husband took great care of us. Great breakfast outside, very much appreciated.
