We enjoyed our stay in Jon’s beautiful apartment. Right in the heart of Reykjavik, it had a splendid view and was walkable to lots of shops and restaurants. Jon was very responsive and easy to work with.

Lloyd and Raggi’s apartment is a gem! Fully equipped, quiet street, comfy bed, secure and beautiful neighborhood. It was a short walk to central Reykjavik shopping, restaurants and historic sites. This property is great for a couple. Note that there are some stairs to from the street door to the apartment door. We highly recommend this property for staying in Reykjavik.

Home in Reykjavík was perfect - great location with parking , great kitchen, bathroom, and super comfortable bed - I loved it. Prior to arrival Thordis sent me a number of messages which included details on the apartment and its use, and information about sites of interest in the Reykjavik environs. This place was gorgeous and larger than we thought. We loved the steam bath! It was so easy to walk to local restaurants. A very comfortable place to stay for our family of four!

My husband and I had a great stay here. The place was very comfortable and we appreciated having a washer and a well equipped kitchen. Being close to grocery stores was great and the area is very walkable. We did rent a car to go exploring and was able to park right in front of the airbnb. My favourite was the view of the mountain from the window! Thanks for a great stay :)

This 2BR apartment is in a central location next to the Selfoss New Old Town with restaurants and across the street from the grocery store. The river is nearby as is the iconic Pylsuvagninn Icelandic hotdog stand… with reasonable prices and huge portions of fries. Telma was a responsive, friendly host.

Beautiful apartment with a great location, we enjoyed a great space with comfortable beds. Silla is very friendly and her husband too, we were able to greet them both. If you have the chance to stay in this apartment, don't think twice.

This place was awesome to stay in. Private location not far from the main road and many of southern Iceland's attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Our group of 5 stayed at Tomas' place for 2 nights. It is a very pretty farm house in a great location between the must see waterfalls of Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss. The house is very big and has a washer and dryer which was nice as many rentals do not have a dryer. The house was very clean and had all amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

Absolutely fantastic stay in Iceland! This house was truly a home away from home. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared everything was. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, which was a huge plus considering the cost of eating out in Iceland. The living area was cozy and perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the linens were nice. We loved having access to the washing machine and dryer. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, and the smart TV was great for winding down in the evenings. The location was ideal for exploring Golden Circle and South Coast. We found it easy to access local shops and restaurants, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. Kristinn is an amazing host. Very responsive and always in communication. It really helped with our first visit to Iceland!

The place was mostly easy to find, check in was a breeze (just take the key from the lockbox), and the three separate, private bedrooms with room darkening shades were just what our group of three women needed after our overnight flight from the states. Host was extraordinarily responsive, even bringing toilet paper over within minutes at midnight when we realized there weren’t any spare rolls. The beds were comfortable, the setting was serene, and watching the sheep and petting their dogs and feeding their horses was the cherry on top! Would absolutely recommend!

Loved Karen’s place and Karen was very responsive with my questions and provided helpful solutions. Loved the area and location. Got all my steps in each day. Loved Iceland in general and will be going back. Wasn’t prepared for the daylight but worked with it.

Welcoming and cosy place, as soon as we arrived we found everything very clean and tidy, kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare something to eat, very clean bathroom, room equipped with Smart TV and vacuum cleaner. The owner of the house is always available for any eventuality. If I were to return to Iceland I would gladly book another stay with him.

A perfect spot to crash and/or work with easy access to Reykjavik city and outlying areas. Would absolutely recommend and would look to stay again. Thank you!

Great apartment, great owner

The flat was lovely, amazing view, and perfectly situated close to everything. Linda was a good host, met us on our schedule and was very welcoming!

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

Hronn was a very flexible host. The location was great and we had everything we needed.

If Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons ever designed, furnished and located an apartment, then this is it. Great for family, market place next door should you need it, fantastic (top end) restaurants all around, coffee shops…and everything in short walking distance. It was so well kept and clean, felt like a high end resort. Really cool place and host who clearly cared about his guests’ experience. Reachable, proactive when needed, yet respectful of privacy. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, or any other of his locations, he truly is a class act super host. Highly recommended.

The apartment was exactly as described and immaculate. But what I liked best was that it was in a tranquil neighborhood with outstanding views across a bay and easy access to downtown. Once I drove downtown, once I walked along the bay and once I took a chance on a scooter (very easy path to follow, but since that was my first ride ever, it was harrowing!). I appreciated that Kjartan made my stay exceptionally easy - most of my questions (what’s the WiFi password, where’s the nearest grocery store, etc) were answered in advance, and then again in a helpful booklet in the apartment. Thank you, Kjartan, for a fantastic stay in Reykjavik!
