We had the BEST stay at Kristine’s cabin! It’s in a sweet small town situated in a perfect location for Golden Circle exploration. It’s so clean and decorated beautifully, and it’s up above the town center so it’s private and so peaceful. Kristine went above and beyond with a sweet welcome of fresh flowers and treats; we felt so at home! The space is perfect for a small family of 3, and the hot tub was the best end of a day. We already want to come back!

Stayed for three nights as a base to explore the Golden Circle sights and Landmannalaugar in the highlands - was perfect for that purpose. Had hoped to explore the geothermal area nearby as well, but heavy rain disrupted plans. The apartment is large, bright and comfortable with a full kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. Looks just like the pictures. Grocery store (Bonus) close by, as is a great local brewery within walking distance. The local pool is a hidden gem with a 50m pool and hot tub, only about 1km away from the apartment - soaked away part of a rainy afternoon there. We found it difficult at first to locate the specific unit as there are multiple buildings and the numbering is hard to follow. A tip is that it backs onto the commercial greenhouses behind the complex, so find those and you'll be close.

The house is situated in a private neighbourhood in walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. Well equiped kitchen with everything you need. On arrival everything was absolutly clean. The good blackout shades are a big bonus for the summertime. There is only little space for your clothing due to the dressers being full of private things. Being located in Hveragerði this house is a good starting point for exploring the south-west of Iceland.

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

Great stay! Wish the weather wasnt so cloudy during our visit, we never did see the aurora outside our bedroom window. Maybe next time! Fun to watch the horses playing at the house across from the airbnb. And great location for food , Selfoss is very reachable, good center location for driving around to see Icelandic sightseeing

Amazing place in a lovely town. We loved everything about this place and town. The beautiful cats are a great bonus if you are a cat lover. Made us feel like home. Clean, convenient with everything you need. we spent our first 3 nights in Iceland and we are already sure this will be one of the highlights. highly recommended

Felt right at home. I've never stayed in someone's home before on Airbnb, but Mikael made us feel right at home. Having a ton of space, a full kitchen, access to laundry space was invaluable for our trip. Although we didn't have a chance to use the hot tubs they looked clean and spacious. In retrospect, we would have spayed longer because there is just so much to see in just an hour drive radius around the town. Would highly recommend!

Perfect accommodation for our week in Iceland. Hveragerdi is on the golden circle, not far from the airport or Reykjavik. Most other places of interest can be reached easily in a day. Hveragerdi has all you need, including shops, fuel, hot springs, geyser, hot river walk and swim location, great swimming pool and loads of nice walking. This meant we didn't have to drive every day, nice when the weather wasn't the best (we came in late March - everything from sunshine to blizzards). House was warm and welcoming, fully equipped for our stay and located in a quiet street. Alistair was the perfect host and offered several tips on getting the best from our time. In fact all the locals we met were very friendly and happy to answer our questions. Highly recommended and just what we were looking for.

This unit was brand new and super private. The whole building was squeaky clean and well lit. The hot tub is well sized - we got lucky and got to see the northern lights from the tub! Easy driving to both Reykjavík and Selfoss. A great home base!

Absolutely fantastic stay in Iceland! This house was truly a home away from home. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared everything was. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, which was a huge plus considering the cost of eating out in Iceland. The living area was cozy and perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the linens were nice. We loved having access to the washing machine and dryer. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, and the smart TV was great for winding down in the evenings. The location was ideal for exploring Golden Circle and South Coast. Lovely place. Perfect base for travelling. Teens loved the big TVs! Always really warm after a day trip out. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. Everything you need. Only one thing not perfect - the hot tub is not like a UK hot tub. It's a big tub you fill with hot water when you want to use it, which takes a while.

The stay at Rosemary’s guesthouse was very enjoyable. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, and the hot tub was an awesome plus! The location is ideal- close to restraunts and gas stations, and the views were amazing! Rosemary was very friendly and responsive. Would stay again!

Lovely 1- bedroom unit with a unique relaxing area

We only stayed one night there, but the man cave/bar space looked so nice and cozy that in the evening, we were really just looking forward to come in for a drink and chat at the house, rather than have drink somewhere else :) Nice and cozy bed and nice bathroom. We had a lovely stay and I wished I could have been there one more day :)
