We had an incredible time at Vicki's place. The location is excellent, and the natural light in the apartment makes you want to stay in all day. It was spotless and had all the appliances we needed. If we return to Shoal Bay, we would definitely book it again. Vicki was very helpful and responsive, when we accidentally locked ourselves out, she had it sorted within 15 minutes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend this place 100%. It was phenomenal.

Nice Seaview from back yard despite the weather was not good during our stay. Definitely recommend for everyone who wants to have a good time with family.

Jonathan is the most amazing host. The apartment is absolutely breathtaking and I was not prepared for the view. The place is of a high standard of quality and cleanliness. The kitchen is equipped with quality supplies. And the kitchen towels are abundant and fresh (I'm a chef so this was so beautiful to see) everything there that you would need for a home away from home. luxury bathroom with more than adequate supplies. Peaceful, safe, amazing living and dining area, the most freshest bed I've ever slept in. Thank you so much, Jonathan for having me. I recommend this place so highly and with the assurance that it's the best airbnb I have ever stayed and will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful location, stunning views from the balcony! We were even joined by 6 rainbow lorikeets when we arrived. The flat was spotless, easy to access and Brent was a responsive host. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely speechless!!! booked this for two nights with my mum and sister and all three of us could not believe how nice it was. The house is spotless with the pool area at the back feeling like a private resort. Everything you need is in the house, there's really no need to leave. Would highly recommend to anyone especially for the price.

This was the most beautiful place to say - I can’t express how the even though the pictures looked amazing- they didn’t do it justice. We were blown away and that sunset on the water was breathtaking. Felt so homey and we didn’t want to leave. I will be back - just delightful and the host were so kind and accomodating. We stayed in Kate’s place over a weekend to celebrate some significant birthdays with the family ranging in age from 71 to 0. It suited us perfectly! Well equipped for babies through to more elderly. 3 bathrooms, laundry and 5 bedrooms with separate TV room. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, cosy fireside and fun on the lake at the bottom of the garden. Take board games and books. Location worked very well for us as some travelled from Sydney and some from Newcastle on a Friday evening. Can thoroughly recommend.

We stayed at WhaleTail Nelson Bay for a mini birthday trip with my partner and friends, and the experience was amazing. The house is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with cozy common areas both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen and bathroom amenities were very comprehensive—everything we needed was provided. Located in a peaceful residential area, the home is still just a short drive from Nelson Bay’s d’Albora Marinas, the seashore, and Salamander Bay Square. Insa was a wonderful host—very hospitable, responsive, and always quick to answer any questions. Check-in and check-out were seamless and easy. Our group was very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Port Stephens!

The location is perfect for a short getaway and very suitable for little kids. The house was very clean and has great amenities for kids. Renee is also very proactive with recommendations and the likes. We had a great stay!

Loved our stay at Driftwood! Perfect size and layout for our three families. We all agreed it was the perfect location as we got to enjoy the beautiful lake views and direct lake access for kayaking, while being only a short drive from a great selection of pristine beaches. We will be back!

We had a lovely family getaway at this beautiful home. The space itself is spacious, well-designed, and perfect for spending quality time together—especially with the pool and outdoor area, which have so much potential for relaxing and making memories. Although we encountered a few hiccups during our stay, the host was incredibly responsive and proactive in addressing them, which we really appreciated. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience. With a bit more attention to detail, this property could be a standout holiday home. Have had a lovely week at Mark and Leah's apartment in shoal bay. Loved the views and the place was great, everything you needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Shoal Bay itself has a really laid back vibe, with great places to eat right at your doorstep. On our drive home we were already planning on coming back, which speaks volumes on how much we enjoyed our stay.

hosts were really lovely and even left home made cookies for arrival! Lovely clean apparentment close to the beach and walks. I didn't realise there was no oven so that was the only downside for us but it was great value for the money

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.
