Vacation rentals with a kayak in Hudson Bend

This spacious 5-bedroom home was ideal for our family getaway. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen flowed into the upstairs living room, providing ample space to hang out while some prepared food while others sat and talked. The unique lazy Susan in the breakfast area was a bonus. Owner Mike was very communicative and answered all our questions. Though it’s far from central Austin, it offers a relaxed and serene atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, spacious, and perfect for our large group. It’s close to lots of attractions, which made getting around super easy. We loved the extra amenities — the cute little putt putt corner, pool, and outdoor dining area were huge highlights. The beautiful trees in the yard added such a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for being such a great host! I'm picky about where I stay, and your home checked all the boxes. I loved how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were, how detailed your instructions are, the towel warmers, all THE PLANTS 🥰, the coffee and tea fixings, the candles/ oils/ scents, all the tvs, the Nintendo game, the guest book, the deck, the layered decor, access to W/D, the books, great wifi, the deer everywhere, etc. Your place was the perfect retreat we desperately needed. It's obvious you put a lot of effort and care into your property. Very well done! We'll definitely be back!

Jenny's home was the perfect home base for a fun bachelorette weekend. All the essentials and more were provided. Super comfy beds, squeaky clean throughout, quiet neighborhood near all the fun and good eats you can find in Austin. We will definitely be back!

This house is the perfect lake house getaway! My wife and I had a great time and were so comfortable. Flip and Elizabeth are wonderful host and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. What makes this house so special is the sunset view of the lake. It's high on a hill with a perfect view of the setting sun. The sky is truly magnificent. What's also great is there empty lots to the R and L of the house. So there's lots of privacy and the feeling of being in nature. I'd prefer this house over being on the lake actually. It's one of the best views you'll find in Point Venture (maybe even the best)! The house is super clean and updated. The kitchen, bathrooms, and floors are all beautiful. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The coach is great too while watching TV on the projector. We had everything we needed and more. I can't say enough about this place. We'll definitely be back! Point Venture is a special oasis in the middle of TX! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Mikes place in Driftwood. Peaceful snd private, but close to local restaurants and shopping. My kiddos loved the pool. We will definitely stay again!

An amazing property with a kind hostess. We felt the warm welcome and charming southern hospitality just oozing out of this place. They provided every supply for our weekend except our food and drinks. There was charcoal for the bbq, kayaks and life jackets for the river, abundant firewood and sticks for s'mores, bubbles, floaties for the pool, a blender for making drinks. We saw a heron, owls, a friendly cat, and few deer grazing on the property one morning. The whole weekend was like a little taste of paradise. Thank you.

Loved it here! This was a great find. It was a nice clean room overlooking the river and was on very pretty grounds alongside other rentable cabins. The Spicewood location right on the Pedernales and along lake travis was wonderful, truly waterside with easy access to the kayaks/canoes/paddleboards which you can rent through Travis quickly and conveniently. After sunset I had plenty of room to set up my telescope and had a great view of the moon and stars over the water. It’s right down the street from Krause and several other hillcountry gems. Great host. I’d totally come back.

Stone Cottage was such a peaceful retreat for us to recharge for a few days. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and floating in the pool surrounded by nature and tons of birds. Birders- bring your binoculars! We had some gorgeous sunsets too. We didn't bring our paddle boards but it's a good spot for all levels to paddle (or kayak) just plan to bring everything down to the dock for the day so you only have to make the hike back up to the house one time- it's steep and rocky but doable. Your reward is cooling off in the pool at the end of the day.

This property is so beautiful. We were looking for a place to getaway from the city and Isabels place was perfect. So much love has been poured into this property. Our son ( 2 ) loved the playground and digging in the dirt at the creek, but most of all he loved the dog. I enjoyed quiet cups of coffee in the morning and chaos of my little one all day. Plenty of toys inside and entertainment for us outside. It was the perfect Fathers Day weekend..my heart is so full.. thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us.

Amazing services he’s always an answer my questions and this places its amazing ! I have other plans for next month , my next plans rent the big house ! Wonderfully atmosphere! One thing guys, buy all the food you need before you come because around here close not have a market. If you are looking to be disconnected and stay always from the people ! This is the place!!! If you wanna have some fun ! A couple minutes have a bad ass music bar !!! 👏 this place !

Our family rented three of the bungalows including # 6. They all were great. Beds comfortable and kitchen has the basics of what you need. Towels, trash bags, paper towels provided. Outdoor seating and grills for each bungalow. Our family enjoyed the swings and hammock a lot.

The house was so warm and inviting! Peaceful quiet and very relaxing! Love the animals! Had everything you would need for a small getaway plus other amenities we did not have time to do like fishing, kayaking. Would definitely stay again!

Great location across from BSBs, clear of clutter, clean, concise, cute cottage across the street. Excellent value. If you can stay here do it.

Jasmin and Alex were very welcoming hosts, and we felt right at home. The cozy A-frame cabin is a step back in time and perfect for a young family. We loved the fire pit and patio seating. Also, we were closely located to a Krause Springs.

Please improve the check instructions for people like me, suggest: Self check in with lockbox. Code will be sent via email/ text. This would have avoided the one small issue we had. As soon as the booking is approved if it were my rental, code would be sent in the app, via text and email, which eliminates any plausible deniability. Loved this little place. Mini splits are very quiet! Blake appreciated all feedback we had to make the stay better for others. I loved that all the switches were marked! Additionally note parking in front of property

It was clean and a lot of space for big families and has everything you need and I recommend it I would like to go back.

This was an amazing little vacation I took with my two sons (10 and 15). The location was ABSOLUTELY perfect and the Waterpark (which was a 1 min walk away), was super accommodating and relaxing. James and the other host went over and beyond to answer my 100 questions. lol The bungalow was a great size, clean and had everything we needed. The lock keypad was nice too, so we didn’t have to keep track of a key. We will definitely be back!!!
