We had a comfy stay at Jelle's! No complaints or displeasures, everything was quite clean and accurate to the description in the listing. Instructions for check-in was clear. Maybe would be good to provide 2 sets of keys instead of just 1. Location is 2min walk from a bus stop, easy to take a 10-15min bus ride to Centraal. Living room area in particular was very pleasant! we were worried that privacy was going to be an issue, but Jelle had blinds and privacy filters on the windows, so we felt at ease. Washing machine and dryer are easy to use too. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Red Cottage Lodge Accomodation near Utrecht

We arrived at red cottage lodge and were very warmly welcomed by Alexander and Icí who showed us around the lodge. The lodge is open plan and airy during the day but very cosy of an evening. The patio is secluded and we spent every night outside eating, enjoying watching the wildlife. We even had a visit from a baby deer! The bed is super comfortable and we had a choice of pillows to use. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a Dolmio coffee machine. The kitchen also has all the condiments, as well as a good stock of teas and coffee, which is brilliant. We explored every day and looked forward to coming back to the lodge and spending the evening there. Alexander is very hospitable and was always contactable in case we needed anything (which we didn't do as we got very comfortable very quickly!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the red lodge if you want comfort and seclusion, gardens, woods and cycle paths a stones throw away. Thank you Alexander!

We had a lovely week at Mark’s place. It’s such a beautiful house full of character and Mynki is the cutest cat ever!! It’s pretty nearby to a bus stop that will take you into the city centre or around half an hour to walk. Amazing communication and overall a great experience :)

Lovely place to stay for a peaceful time near Utrecht. The house was very well equipped and spotlessly clean with lots of space. Host provided lots of information and anything we weren’t sure about we were able to ask on text message. Kids loved the trampoline in the back yard :-). Bilthoven is very nice with lots of shops and amenities including a station where you can easily get to Utrecht or Amsterdam. Thank you for a great few days

We immediately felt at home in the cozy cottage ( creatively and warmly decorated ). Also enjoyed the outdoor seating in the garden. We were able to make a simple, great meal in the kitchenette with everything that was available. Lovely area for walking/ biking. The dike can sometimes be busy with traffic.

Lovely Airbnb in the country right across the street from hiking trails and close to a cafe and brewery. Very clean, quiet, spacious, and has everything you need for a great stay. Would highly recommend and if I am ever in the area, would definitely love to stay there again.

Everything about Mark’s house was perfect. It’s in a great location and the underground parking right next to the house was great. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Mark kept in regular contact and replied to messages quickly. Would definitely recommend Marks house. Perfect as a base to explore the Netherlands.
