Welcome to Bosch en Duin in our former garage/barn, which was converted into a very luxurious and stylish home on September 1, 2016. Ideal for 2 people, but also suitable for a family with 2 children or 4 friends. The home is fully insulated and heated by underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Through a window as large as the garage doors and on the other side windows up to the ridge and 3 large skylights, it is a delightful bright space with stunning views of garden and forest totaling 2800m. The Garage consists of one large room with a wooden unit in the middle. On one side of the unit there is a beautiful, complete kitchen with 4 burners/combi oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer integrated in a hard stone countertop. On the other side is a small but tasteful shower (thermostat tap), toilet and sink with automatic tap and illuminated anti-condensation mirror. The unit offers spacious cupboards and drawers and a staircase upstairs. The unit has a double bed of 1.60 x 2.00m with a lovely sheep wool duvet of 2.00 x 2.00 m. For lodgers who are afraid of heights, there is a spacious and comfortable sofa in the sitting room that turns into a double bed of 1.40 x 2.00 m in one motion. Next to this spacious corner sofa there is another comfy chair to slide comfortably close to the stove. In the dining area there is a spacious wooden table with 4 chairs. The drawings and ceramics images by our son, outsider artist Hannes, give the space a very personal and cheerful appearance. The home has its own private, private and wonderfully sheltered terrace with comfortable garden chairs with pillows. In the forest there is a bench to enjoy nature in peace or to read a book. Finally, there is a hammock for a delicious afternoon nap. The house has WiFi, with which you can watch the available iPad TV via our Ziggo connection, also radio. So there is no flat screen TV. We have a dog of our own, but we don't want a dog in De Garage. Guests can use the entire house, but also the terrace, the forest and the driveway to park their car. We will be there when guests arrive and depart. We tell the guests about our house, the equipment and the area. The house is non-smoking. We do not provide breakfast or other meals. Combine nature and culture in "De Garage," on the estate Ter Wege in Bosch en Duin, surrounded by the woods of the Utrecht Heuvelrug and a short distance from Utrecht and Amersfoort with their many museums, restaurants and other entertainment options. Guests can use our bikes. A bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. Own transportation is of course always easier and faster. Guests can always reach us by phone for questions.

Spacious (120m2) exclusive apartment with everything you need for a carefree stay in Utrecht. Perfect for families and one or two couples. Welcome in Utrecht! Shop in the boutiques and supermarkets and dine in the hip restaurants in the famous streets of Oudegracht and Voorstraat, 5 minutes away by foot. Stroll in the open spaces of nearby Griftpark, while the central railway station is a 15-minute walk. Train: The apartment is located 15 min walking distance from Utrecht Central Station train station. Utrecht is easiest reachable within 30 min by train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Car: There are paid parking places in the street for EUR 3,58 per hour or EUR 24,96 per day. On Sunday it is free to park. There is also an option to park in parking garage called Grifthoek for EUR 16,00 per day. This parking garage is very close by (4 min walk) Free parking is possible near train station Utrecht Overvecht, but will take you at least 20-25 min walk to the apartment.

Ideal for friends and family weekend at the same time. Certainly not cheap, but if you make full use of it with 8 people then it is fair. In the wide area cycling along the Maas is a must. We made a Solex tour from Herpen (boerensolex) recommended by Tom. Golden tip. Furthermore, the Militraks museum visited a 35-minute drive away.

We had a lovely time on Peter's houseboat. The location is great. Only a 15 minute walk to the station and the center yet incredibly peaceful. Everything we needed was available and we enjoyed the first rays of the spring sun on the dock in front of the houseboat. The daily visit from a group of geese was quite the highlight for our little boy. Peter welcomed us when we first arrived and was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. We explored the corners of Utrecht and beyond with the bike and can only recommend this lovely city. So many beautiful historic buildings, lovely canals and quaint little cafes and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Everything was very nice and to our surprise the flat was even bigger than it seemed on the fotos. Sharing the flat for 2 nights with 4 adults was no problem. The communcation with Nevin was really easy and pleasant. The flat is rather close to the beautiful city center, which is only a 15-20 min walk away. Parking is a bit tricky, since it is very expensive and there's no free parking basically anywhere in Utrecht, so I would advise to come by train, if possible. All in all we had a very pleasant stay :)

This was a perfect house to visit Utrecht. Quiet area and a 5 min walk to be in the centre of town. Tons and Peter were lovely hosts. Great communication and they met us to show us round the house. We loved sitting on the balcony and in the little garden. Utrecht was hot but the house remained cool as it’s surrounded by gardens and trees which was a delight.

Excellent stay for 2 families. The garden with the lake view is just magical. Very quiet. In the countryside and yet close to shops and restaurants. Thanks for lending us the bikes and the boat. It was great to get around on the water. The area is beautiful and within reasonable distance of different cities to visit. Floris is a thoughtful host (Easter decoration, welcome gifts, etc.) and responded to our messages within the day. The house was very spacious and very clean. Authentic charm of an old farmhouse. Thanks for this real break.

Great location, super nice boat &canal, quit. Wesen is very beautiful but also close to Amsterdam (only 15 min train).
