For the budget-conscious traveler, our Cabin Light rooms - with shared, single occupancy restrooms and showers - offer a quieter, less expensive alternative to standard rooms. These rooms are located in the interior of the building, providing more insulation from downtown Astoria. With a plush queen bed, original apron sinks, and original artwork, the Cabin Light rooms are an ideal fit for those looking to spend a little less but still take advantage of all that the Norblad Hotel has to offer.

The space
Independently owned and thoughtfully restored, the Norblad was built in 1923 and is the longest running hotel on the west coast. This boutique hotel is intentionally curated with value in mind. We have several different accommodation layouts to suite each traveler - ranging from our ultra-affordable and fun Cabin Light rooms to our exclusive Astor Suite apartments, with private amenities and full kitchens. Each room style features carefully chosen finishes with high-quality pieces throughout while keeping the feel laid-back and comfortable.
