Ciao! i'm Annalisa, nice to meet you!
I live here with my husband Luca and our 2 teenagers Filippo & Michelangelo. We have 3 cats and we are a typical italian family.

Welcome at "Contrada Lunga", a romantic ancient historical house, situated in Linzanico, a medieval and pedestrian village, halfway over Abbadia Lariana, 8 minutes far from lake shore.

We are travelers as you as well and we always like to discover hidden places, traditional houses and true people.
Here you are!
We fell in love at once with this house, we restored it few years ago and now we want to share it with you.

The original chestnut wood door opens into the beautiful courtyard paved with stone: flowers, table, chairs...to have breakfast, for appetizer, small talk together, to read a book and have a nap...

On the ground floor, there is a comfortable and cool livingroom with a vaulted ceiling and fireplace: it was the ancient kitchen of the house.
There is a sofa with ethnic pillows, from our first trip to Turkey, a rich multilingual library, funny games for all man kind, a small stereo for your favorite music.

BEDROOMS
The three rooms, each has a different size, host a maximum of 6 people. The internal architecture, while respecting the original size of the house, is characterized by massive walls that are whitewashed and by small niches, wood floor and roof: simple furnishings that give the guest a cozy, familiar feeling. (window, mirror, fan, books)
Every room has a private bathroom: lavabo, shower, towels, shampoo, shower gel.

Internet connection and wifi available ; television and telephone are intentionally lacking...

BREAKFAST
The organic breakfast is served on a covered balcony where a single large table allows all our guests to meet one another, or in the large courtyard, in the cool breeze of the morning.

Silk museum "SETIFICIO MONTI" with the original silk wood twister, guided tours, Abbadia Lariana.

40 minutes to reach the waterfall, a suggestive place to refresh yourself and if you are brave...jump into the water, Linzanico.

By car: Abbadia Lariana, up to Linzanico and let the car on the main road, reach the B&B on foot ( 30 mt.)
Shuttle Service from Malpensa airport to Lecco.
From Stazione Centrale Milano, train to "SONDRIO/TIRANO" stop in Abbadia Lariana or Mandello del Lario.
