Family-friendly vacation rentals in Horry County

CT visitors, heading down south for April break. We have four people in our family so it was my husband my 2 sons (8 & 3) and myself. The condo was absolutely perfect and plenty of room for our family of four. Everything was clean and up-to-date. The view from the balcony was amazing. We really enjoyed the ability to be able to walk to the pools walk to the beach come back up for lunch and anything else that we needed. This condo is also a mile from the Walmart superstore and the Tanger outlets. Very close to Barefoot Landing. A lot to do around the area. We would definitely consider rebooking again.

I have been staying at Ocean Creek Resort for over 20 years and this unit was great! Not a far walk to the ocean, very pretty surroundings, mattress was comfortable, and very clean. i would defiantly stay again!

everything was fantastic. the place was ready earlier than expected, it was clean and ready to go. I have been going to Myrtle Beach for 7 years and while we have had some nice places this surpassed then all. Highly recommend! A++++++

The condo was perfect for our family of 10! It was spacious and comfy. We loved having all smart TVs as well as the large family dining table. The beach was a very short walk with access right across the street. We enjoyed the lazy river and hot tubs too. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful week at Mary Margaret's place. It was just as described...met all of our needs...and whenever we had a question she was very quick to respond. Our stay had everything we could have needed and more!! Would absolutely book again!!! Thank you for a wonderful week!

Wow! Mark was an amazing host for us and the house was absolutely perfect for our family of five! The heated pool was the best for our family, as well as the quick walk to resort and beach. This house is absolutely gorgeous and we were comfortable and felt right at home. The house had everything we needed and then some, for example, we used the beach chairs and convenient trolly for the chairs and bags that we used to bring stuff to the beach on. 100/10, I can’t say enough great things!!

Everything was perfect from the home to the location! The balcony catches the prettiest sunrises! If you have kids the family kingdom is right across the street! There’s a pizza and ice cream place in close walking distance and if you don’t mind walking a good 15-20 mins there’s plenty to eat and do! Jen & Steve were super responsive and very friendly! 10/10 recommend!

The place was as described- quiet neighborhood and very safe feeling. The garage is best for small cars but there is parking beside it. We enjoyed the proximity to all the things we came for- cheer competition at the convention center, Broadway at the Beach. We would definitely stay there again

I love staying at Sheila’s place. I’m a return customer. Her place is a nice little no frills place off the beach. It’s immaculately cleaned The area is very walkable to the boardwalk. It’s comfortable and I feel safe when I am there. There is some noise as it’s close to “the action” but that’s a part of the appeal. The place does allow pets however there is a weight restriction so if you plan on taking your pet you must talk with her when you book the place. Sheila herself is super communicative. She is kind and respectful. You really cannot go wrong with this diamond in the rough.

We had an amazing time at Janet’s beach home. It was close to the beach, clean, comforting, and walking distance to everything!!! Janet’s and her family was very responsive. if i needed something they was right on it! unfortunately the hot tub was down for our first 2 or 3 days due to the heating element going out, but they made sure to get it fixed right up in no time so we could enjoy. I appreciate how amazing and friendly they were. The neighbors were super friendly we even made a couple of friends during the visit. we felt welcomed and right at home. If you were second guessing Janet’s beach house this is your sign to BOOK NOW, i would recommend this home to my friends and family.

Place was comfortable and peaceful! Very clean with lots of extra toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies available. Nice selection of boards games, and my boys loved the NES classic. Host was very friendly and responsive.

Adam was an amazing host! The house was absolutely stunning and we felt right at home. The privacy fence for the back yard was another top favorite, and our pups loved it! Not to mention, it was walking distance to everything! Adam was very responsive, welcoming and helpful in every way. We will be returning!

We had an amazing time down, the house was just like the pictures. Nice view from the back deck and only a couple blocks from the beach(walking distance) Matt and Barbara were very helpful with everything.

This place is amazing! As a group of coaches staying for a tournament, the place was big enough for us to have our own spaces to recharge but also large enough spaces for us to hang out. The location is great- I would definitely stay here again!

This house couldn’t have been any more perfect. Each couple and the two teenagers all had their own ensuite bedrooms. As private as having our own hotel rooms but more homey. Christine, the owner’s neighbor, was our contact throughout our stay and she was great. She was super fast to respond by text to any questions we had. The living space is really large and although we didn’t spend a lot of time here, when we were here, it was nice to have DishTV. The guys were able to watch football. The location is close to 17 but still very quiet. Also, if it was warmer we could have enjoyed the back deck with the trees and canal. It was close to the beach but too cold for that unfortunately. I hope we can use this home again next time we are in town visiting my mother and father in law!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Before we arrived Charles had already contacted me, and sent all of the details. The house was real nice and clean upon arrival. My family will be returning in the future.

I loved the home. It was close to the beach and shops. It was far away for peace and quiet.

First trip for our granddaughter to the beach. We were right outside of the playground and close to pools. We had a wonderful time and I would stay here again!

We had an amazing weekend. Another 5 star stay. Tanya is a great host who wants you to have an amazing experience. The condo was clean, well stocked, and is within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The pool is such a nice perk. I will absolutely stay here again.

We had a great week! Nice, quiet, peaceful stay. Everything was just as described. Perfect for family trips. Loved the set up with the side by side bathrooms.

Great location, just a short 5 minute walk to a beautiful uncrowded beach but it is about 30 mins from Myrtle Beach proper. There is lots of space in the house and even with 4 teenagers in our group, everyone was able to find their own space to chill. Kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans/utensils/appliances, but bring your own spices/oils. Pool was great, very warm and spacious. Would definitely recommend!

The house was great, Lily was amazing, and we couldn’t be happier with the listing. Close to the beach and right in the middle of all the action.

Kristy's place was cozy and comfortable. We all had a great time on this vacation, lots of sight-seeing and daily beach time! We liked this beach very much and think it was better than Myrtle beach. We had no issues here and it was nice to have such a cozy and comfortable place to stay.
