What a gem of a place. Everything is walkable Hopkins has my heart! Anything you need they live right on property and will help you out. Solo traveling no need to be concerned fun and very safe. Take a walk out back in the morning and have coffee. The bedroom has a beautiful view of the water ❤️

Great space with beautiful community pool. We saw wildlife too! Deer, gibnut, wild pig, rabbits and foxes! This would be a nice place to ride a bike through the community. One thing to note is the 3rd bedroom and bathroom is accessed outside below the main house. We had small children so we had to just use the 2 bedrooms in the main house. There are things needing repair. Especially the noisy AC in the master bedroom, and some door handles out to the verandas. It is a nice place but it could be even better with some attention.

Staying at Villa 13 at Seabird was a dream! The Airbnb looked exactly like the pictures and it felt as if though I was right at home! The host, Johan was very responsive, kind and accommodating! I enjoyed my stay and will be returning in a few months !

Great property with many options for multiple families/groups. We had a group of 18 and rented 3 houses, all just steps away from each other. The space has a perfectly small pool, nice deck area, and is so quiet. It was clean and looked exactly like the photos. We did not get daily maid service and every house in our group ran out of necessities (toilet paper). The water from the faucet is drinkable and the toilets can take toilet paper. The showers don't get super hot, but are soothing with hot weather. TV/wifi was easy to navigate and Beth was extremely responsive. The kitchen does not come stocked with any food/spices. Pick up salt,pepper, butter, oil if you intend to cook. I highly recommend you ask for a cook for some meals. A breakfast fed 16 people and was $150 usd (and delicious). Rent a golf cart & pay to have it dropped off and picked up. Lots of fun to be had in this house!

The Mellow Yellow was just what we needed for our stay in Hopkins! Our whole family loved how much space we had and the fenced in yard on the beach was a huge plus for our adventurous toddler and our dog. The place was spotless and had everything we could think of to give a “home away from home” feel. We will definitely book again!

We had a great one night stay in unit #24! Beth gave us a free upgrade and it appeared we were the very first guests in this new unit! Beth and Johan gave us an early check in and also lots of tips for dinner and more. The beds were comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. The setting was awesome on the water. We did not use the pool but the deck and view were really lovely. I would highly recommend this property and hosts! Thank you again!

Incredible home and above and beyond service! The entire staff was helpful from the planning stages with the concierge to the friendly onsite staff (who were by no means intrusive—it was amazing how much they cleaned compared to how little we saw them). The chef was also outstanding! He made delicious, well-portioned meals and cleaned up after each one. I will point out that the distance to the city center (Placencia) was about a 25 minute drive. Franco was able to schedule taxis for us which was great when our full group of 10 wanted to go out together (note: request a taxi with AC!). We had rented a car which was nice for getting groceries/quick trips. I recommend getting liquor at the duty-free store in the airport (BZE) as it is more expensive in placencia. The grocery stores are also very limited so bring any favorite snacks ;)

Great place for our family to rest after a long day of travel! Beautiful location

We absolutely loved Sunset Gecko. It is perfectly located just off the main road so it's easy to get around, but still has a lot of privacy. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and totally exceeded our expectations. The staff and chef service were fantastic

There were 12 of us that stayed for about 6 nights. The staff was extremely accommodating and respectful. Brenda came every day to clean up/make our beds/and do our laundry. Manuel was our chef and did an amazing job. Even tho we came in the rainy season, we had full sun during most days. It was very well worth it and I’d recommend to anyone with a large group staying in Placencia :)

The condo was exactly as described and very, very nice. If there is a nicer place to stay on Placencia, we never saw it. I truly believe this is the nicest. Placencia itself is not what we expected at all. If you’re looking for a typical beach/resort experience like you would find in Mexico, Cayman Islands, or Jamaica this isn’t it. There are no large resorts here, and you are mixed in with the locals (who are extremely kind!) Don’t expect to spend time on the beach. There is quite a bit of trash and very limited beach. There are some hidden gems you must visit though! Mariposa was a favorite spot of ours to spend the day and eat/drink. Le Dolce Vite has amazing Italian food! The frozen banana drink there is so fresh! The four cheese dish was delicious! The Monkey River tour is definitely something to experience, the wildlife is abundant. The little village will feed you and you can find neat trinkets they made themselves. They rely entirely on fishing and tourism, so bring some money with you!

Beth's Seabird villa was perfect for our group of two families. We have plenty of space and the kids enjoyed the small pool at the home as well as the bigger community pool. We loved that we could be picked up for our snorkel tour right at our own private dock. We also loved the access to the Placencia Beach Club that is provided for staying at Seabird. The home has a great design and we really appreciated the air conditioning! The home was located close to the airport and a very short golf cart ride into town. Beth provided a very helpful list of suggestions for activities, restaurants and things to do making our vacation so much more enjoyable and rewarding. We highly recommend this home and we hope to be back.

What a beautiful oasis. Chris is a lovely guy who was really helpful and interesting. If you’re looking for peace then it’s off the beaten track enough that you will be surrounded by nature and chilled vibes. Felt lucky to stay here. Will definitely be recommending it to all people I come across in the coming months! Thanks Chris and the team 😊

I can’t say enough about Alux. We loved the pictures but still didn’t think the unit would be so large. Just off the “sidewalk”, we were right in the hub of Placencia, which is busy by Belize standards but very peaceful by 8 or 9pm at night. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and kitchen was huge. Our 7 yr old caught 3 different types of snapper (red, grey, yellow tail), so we used the gas grill, which was conveniently hooked up to central gas. One week was not enough to explore placencia or this amazing pinnesula, but we will be back to stay again. Thanks Judy for thinking of everything, down to the loofa, make up removing pads, and custom made soap!

Great place to stay in Placencia Village. It is near to all of the village amenities, and is about 25 yards off of the sidewalk, with another building in between, so it is *quiet*. Our room was a one-bedroom apartment layout, with bedroom/batch separate from the living/kitchen area. This was perfect for us and the kitchen was well equipped, from dishes and cooking utensils to spices and condiments. We had several really hot days while we were there, so the plunge pool was an excellent amenity and not something many places have. Jody and Dora were excellent hosts and helped us arrange taxis and tours we were interested in. This is definitely will be our first choice for a place to stay on our next visit. Cannot wait to reconnect with this team!

This is our 3rd year staying at Alux and will no doubt return. The property is beautiful and the apartments are spotless clean and comfortable. I usually have to work a bit while we're there and the wifi is reliable and good quality (great for longer stays if you're a remote worker!). The location is the best in the village if you ask me. Many of the best restaurants in town are walking distance and the beach is a 2 second walk away. Parking has never been a problem even if we do take the car somewhere. I highly recommend staying here, feels like home and will make your trip the best it can be.

We had a wonderful time at Judy’s guest house. The home was better than described, with each of the bedrooms set up as private apartments. We were able to unlock the connecting doors for a whole home feel, but everyone still had their privacy. The kitchens and bathrooms were clean and well appointed with thoughtful extras like coffee, filtered water and q-tips. There were bicycles, beach towels, and even a small cooler we could borrow. Great walkability to many local restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend.

Magical setting! The veranda is wonderful for watching the sunrise & lying in the hammock listening to the lapping of the waves & watching the antics of the pelicans. Andrea is a very interesting woman, who is working hard to address the many challenges of owning an oceanfront property sandwiched between manicured resorts. The beach house is charming with a great bathroom & shower & a functional kitchen. The caretakers were friendly & helpful & it was delightful to watch their two little girls playing & laughing in the ocean. We’ve been visiting Placencia yearly for over a decade & it is reassuring that there are still places like Andrea’s to stay.

Lovely, rustic River Cabin. AC! Beautiful river view, a very comfortable sitting area on the porch, but not much seating inside the cabin unless at the table. Remember your bug spray, and be prepared for a dusty, bumpy ride in. Nice birds and nice neighbors. Fun fishing trip on the Sittee River! Approximately 15 minutes into Hopkins Village, and close to Cockscomb and Serpon Sugar Mill. Tonya was very responsive.

Tradewinds is in the best location possible for restaurants and stores. Being right on the beach is awesome. At night you can hear the waves. Just so relaxing. A perfect vacation. Thanks Janice, Tracy and Matteo.

The location for the Cobia pink house couldn't have been better. Just a few steps to the ocean with an amazingly clean beach. The grocery store was right behind the house on the main street. Too many restuarants to count that are easily walkable. The locals and other guests were all so friendly! The house has 7 separate beds in just enough space to be comfortable and 3 bathrooms which was great. They provided a lot of beach and regular towels and lots of space to hang towels. Don't plan to cook any real meals here (no oven, just a hot plate and microwave), just eat out and enjoy the local culture and great restaurants. For us it was perfect. The onsite laundry was a godsend. Our favorite was the ring hook game on the deck :)
