This apartment is attached to our family home in the Peak District National Park. It is self contained with a private entrance, a conservatory and ample parking. It is close to the villages of Hope and Castleton. Great for walking and the outdoors. Also half an hour's drive from the spa town of Buxton and the beautiful town of Bakewell. We are close to a small railway station where the trains run between Sheffield and Manchester. The next train stop West is Edale (start of the Pennine Way).

Hope has a selection of cafes, pubs and shops and is perfectly placed for action packed activities such as caving and climbing. Towns and villages nearby such as Bakewell and Buxton.

The Nook - an idyllic rural bolt hole...

A sleeps two, barn conversion with original beams. The Nook is located at Back Tor Farm in the Edale Valley. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable. One of four refurbished stone-built cottages overlooking fields and hills of the Peaks. Modern fittings (including high speed wi-fi) set within original features. In the grounds of a 17thC manor house, we are minutes away from the many facilities in Castleton. The Coach House has two bedrooms. You will also find our other cottages, the Barn, the Stables and the Gardener's Cottage on AirBnb - take two or more for larger groups and families.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
