The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee where you can sleep, have been retained. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower, with additional costs, you can relax and unwind.

Bicycles available! There are also beautiful ATB routes nearby that you can try out. You can do shopping in the village itself. If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

Summer at the Ruskehoeve!

The Ruskehoeve is an old forest farm in the atmosphere of the past. There are 3 bedrooms. Layout; hall, shower, toilet, kitchen, loft with staircase entrance to cozy sleeping loft where there are two single beds and a toilet. At the rear there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed (160/200). The living room is heated with a Tigchel stove. Adjacent to the living room is the downstairs bedroom with double bed (140/200). Behind and in front of the house, you can sit outside.

Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Tucked away in the greenery is the log cabin. A place with lots of privacy at the edge of the forest and with a nice view. In the log cabin you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and hob, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. With good weather you can sit on the terrace of the cabin. The shower, toilet and sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.

This comfortable holiday home is located directly on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park with no facilities/gate or rules. The houses in the park are both permanently inhabited and rented out for vacation. You can walk, cycle and mountain bike to your heart's content in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easy to reach. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

The wooded area of Beetsterzwaag or the Drents Friese Wold ( 15 km) is all within cycling distance. Your own driveway and private kitchen at your disposal. The flat is spacious and lacks nothing! Very suitable for 50 + who like to cycle!

Trekkershut

A cozy cabin to relax and unwind. Or to stay overnight during a bike ride through the scenery of South East Friesland. The cabin gives space to two adults and possibly two children. Kitchen and sanitary facilities are not available in the cabin, but you use the sanitary facilities on our Natuurkampeerterrein. The cabin can be booked for up to 4 nights. In the former horse stable of the monumental farmhouse in Bakkeveen, a beautiful and comfortable 2-person apartment is located. The horse stable is located next door and has a view of the Slotplaats estate. Everything is a stone's throw from the beautiful forests and nature of Bakkeveen, where beautiful walks and bike rides can be made directly from the cottage.
